Had a wonderful day at the cooking class at a Tuscan Farmhouse. Our hosts Franchesco and Lavi along with our chef Carmella, gave us a day to remember! They were so entertaining, energetic....and the food...oh my! A nice size group, and created a cozy family feel by the end of the day. We LOVED it! Such good value for the... More

My husband and I booked a day trip to Cinque Terre through Viator and our tour was run by the local company, Walkabout Florence. We were able to easily find the meeting point just near the train station and everything was very well organized. The tour itself was great, including our guide, Julian, who was very personable. He made us... More

What a great experience. Very smooth and precise meet-up and registration. Giada and Francesco each spent time during the bus ride to explain sights on the way as well as logistics of the tour. A great mix of guided time and free time. We never would have been able to see all 5 villages and get a history lesson in... More

We were a group of three (a couple with our adult daughter) We all had a great time and the guides Freddy and Mateo were excellent. They managed to keep the group together and on time on a very busy schedule on a long day. Although the tour goes for about 12 hours it is a great experience and really... More

The tour with Molly was just fine! It was a good mix of outdoor activities (a little trekking/walking session inbetween towns, with incredible views) and not-so-active stuff (train-boat-etc). Molly was very nice and dedicated. She was always giving tips about what-to-do/eat in every place. I definetely recommend to peak this tour, specially for young people (body and/or spirit)!

Freddy was great. Very high intensity day, with lots of shuffling between sights. The hike is vigorous. Great lunch with local fare.

My Mom and I went to Italy to celebrate our 30th and 60th Birthdays. We decided on taking the all day Walkabout tour of Florence. I could have not been more happy with our decision. It was a 12 hour tour, visiting some of the most beautiful places I've ever seen in my lifetime. We traveled to Sienna, San Gimignano,... More

First off, Cinque Terre is an absolute MUST SEE if you are spending anything more than a day or two in the Tuscany region of Italy. The sights, culture, food, and wine were all amazing. This walkabout Florence tour company was something my friends and I found last minute during our backpacking trip around Europe, and decided to hop on... More

Neighborhood Profile
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
