This was an extremely wonderful experience. It was the best day trip ever.......Cooking class and lunch at a Tuscan Farmhouse. The girls and staff went out of their way to make everything spectacular. From the start with a walk through Florence, our girl, Ludvila (not sure on spelling) gave us so much info and history on Florence, then we boarded... More

My wife and I booked this awesome hiking trip to Cinque Terre on our honeymoon. Our two tour guides Jada and Fabiano were amazing and hilarious, meow! They were a wealth of information about the country during our drive to the hiking spot. We arrived just in time at our drop off location to experience an intense thunderstorm with heavy... More

We enjoyed this tour a lot. It was a nice way to see Florence from a food perspective instead of art perspective. Olivia and Valeria were such nice guides. What I liked about this tour most, was the interaction. You're not just listening to someone, you're expected to take initiative, roll up the sleaves and do something!

We did the Best of Tuscany day trip from Florence, and it was the best day trip of our 3 weeks in Europe. They made visiting the various locations really hassle free. If we were do all of that on our own, it would take us 3 or 4 days! Highly recommended, if you've an extra day in Florence.

Best tour experience ever! There, I said it. The experience was possibly one of the best that we have ever had on any vacation. We took the Walkabout Tours Cooking Class and Lunch at a Tuscan Farmhouse on September 10, 2016 with Freddy as our guide. Freddy showed us wonderful hospitality and gave us a great walking tour as we... More

I toured Italy for 2 weeks, taking in the delights of Milan, Rome, Florence, Pisa, Venice & Turin but this little excursion was easily the jewel in the crown for me. I had not ridden a motorcycle for more than 20 years but the short training session got me up & running ok. Francesco was the tour guide & he... More

The Vespa tour with Angel was one of the most fun things we did in our tow weeks in Italy. It was great to get away from the crowds and bustle of Florence (and Rome and Venice) for a little R&R in the country side. Angel was a great guide, knowledgeable, personable and fun to be around. My wife rode... More

My wife and I took the cooking class, and it was definitely the highlight of our trip to Florence (and quite possibly Italy). We had an amazing time starting the day shopping for the ingredients we would use later in the day. We even got a basic tour of Florence while walking to the different shops. The cooking experience was... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
