What a great tour of the Tuscany region! From start to finish the entire tour was informative and enjoyable! Our tour guide, Alessandro ("Alex") was knowledgable and had a great sense of humor. Not to mention, his English was so easy to understand. Also, Salvatore, our driver did a fantastic job navigating our bus on the narrow winding roads! A... More

What a great experience!!! Starting with a shopping tour of Florence with our great guide Valerie. She is so friendly and knowledgable. Once on our bus we met another wonderful person ,Olivia. They both worked so hard the entire day to give us maximum value. Another quality person was Isaac our chef. It made it fun and was a true... More

This was an absolutely amazing tour! Martina, Freddy, & Camella were knowledgeable and so much fun. I would do a tour with them again and again. Definitely book in advance as this tour sells out for good reason. The food and wine are abundant. There is hands on time as well as demonstrations. Nothing about this tour feels rushed.

My partner and I were looking for a cooking tour whilst in Florence and we decided on the Walkabout Florence Cooking Tour based on the fantastic reviews and we were not disappointed! The day started at 10am and our hosts Sandra and Lavi were fantastic hosts who took our group for a 2 hour walking tour around Florence which included... More

This is simply the best thing I have ever done!! The entire trip lasts 5 hours, beginning with a lesson. We visited the church high above the Piazzale Michelangelo, the birthplace of Galileo, then a vineyard then onto lunch. Views everywhere!! I had never ridden a Vespa or motorbike before but Matteo, who is with the tour ,was just a... More

To visit Siena,San Gimignano and Pisa in one day is almost impossible. That is why only one tour has this very tight schedule which only allows about one hour in every spot, including time to get through the very crowded toilette. This tour strictly sticks to the rule of waiting no more than 10 minutes. We were ruthlessly left behind in Siena (late for... We LOVED this experience! One of the top moments of our two week honeymoon in Italy. We were able to see many parts of Tuscany and Sienna wound up being my favorite city. The winery was amazing and lunch was enjoyable. I was hoping that we would be able to dine al fresco at the winery, but I understand that... More

My husband and I enjoyed a their Chianti tour this past summer. The whole day was well coordinated and the wineries were excellent. The only thing better than the sites was our guide Valeria!! Valeria was so friendly, attentive to our needs and knowledgeable (she answered every annoying question with such grace). She made us feel like we were spending... More

We had such an awesome time on this trip!!! Our guide Angel was friendly and funny and gave us plenty of interesting information about Florence along the way. Although we had the only Fiat on the tour (with others riding Vespa's) Angel made sure we didn't get lost and that we knew where we were driving before we left. Our... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
