Best tour guide ever! Would do it again in every city if they had one available. The guide was so friendly and knowledgable. We did the Tasty Tuscany and the places we visited were great and a perfect mix of everything we wanted to experience. Well worth the cost!!! Our stomachs and hearts were full! Highly recommended!!!

We LOVED this tour and my fiance said it was his favorite part of our 10 day trip through Italy. Katherine was an excellent tour guide who was willing to answer all questions, and made the day extra enjoyable. The winery's we went to were amazing and if we are ever back in the area we would definitely do another... More

My husband and I spent 6 weeks travelling around Europe for our honeymoon and Grape Tours Super Chianti was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. It was so lovely escaping the business of Florence for the day and there is no better way to experience the beautiful Tuscan Wineries. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and able... More

We had an amazing time on the Super Chianti tour. Our guide was an expert and so lovely! One of our favourite days in Italy. Loved the visit to the crazy butcher! A highly recommended day out.

My wife and I were in Florence on our honeymoon and turned to TripAdvisor for help in selecting a wine tour. At first - we thought the reviews were too good to be true - something had to be off. Let me assure you they are not. This is a fantastic event for any person interested in seeing the Tuscany... More

My husband and I had an amazing day on the Super Tuscan tour. Our guide Tom, is a sommelier and was very knowledgeable about Italian wine. At the first winery, we tasted 4 cheeses and 4 wines plus the estate olive oil. All was wonderful. At the next winery, we got to meet the owner-winemaker and sit with her in... More

Our day in Tuscany was maybe our favorite day or our two week trip through Italy and Greece. The service and knowledge of our guide, Jessica, was outstanding. Every aspect was planned and delightful. From learning about how Gelato is made, and performing 'quality control; to vising small villages in Tuscany, to a 3 course lunch at a winery to... More

We took the Super Chianti tour in Florence in mid August. Our tour guide, Asa, was absolutely incredible! So knowledgable and so sweet - we learned so much about the wine regions and how to properly taste wine and olive oil. The tour featured two winery visits with wonderful tastings of 3-4 wines including homemade cheeses and olive oil. We... More

We didn't have a full day to spend in Tuscany, and this half day tour was perfect! The guide, the scenery and the wineries were all wonderful. The tastings were all unique and generous and we couldn't have asked for a better way to spend our day. Also, enjoyed the lunch a the last winery - food was delicious! We... More

Staying in Piazzale Michelangelo

Neighborhood Profile
Piazzale Michelangelo
Just outside the ancient walls of Florence, Viale Michelangiolo starts. It is a winding road rimmed by wonderful poplars and holm oaks. The long ascent opens up to the most beautiful and famous panoramic viewpoint of Florence: Piazzale Michelangelo, where an elevated terrace offers visitors an incomparable and breathtaking view of the entire city from above. During good weather, Piazzale Michelangelo provides visitors with a serene space surrounded by the amazing landscape, better if accompanied by a fresh gelato from a local kiosk. During night, visitors will be dazzled by the warm lights of the capital of the Renaissance. Spend a second with the silent Romanesque beauty of the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte: the one that wishes good morning and good night to Florence!
