My wife and I absolutely loved this tour. Our guide Eleonora was very knowledgeable about the artwork in the museum and the history of Florence. Her perfect mix of serious information and lighthearted humour made the tour a joy to be part of.

If you have to choose Italian cities to visit, do not miss Florence! Although it is very busy in some parts you always get a piazza that is peaceful and relaxing. The architecture is stunning, just stroll and get lost and you will always end up at a beautiful or spectacular site. Decide beforehand what you want to see and... More

This was a really fun thing to do but I feel like the website and some of the reviews were a little off. First, the van ride to the location is in a nice van but it is quite a way out of town. Probably 30-45 minutes. Once you get to the location it is a very nice area and... More

Well worth the money, had a great time with Elisa who was a great companion and host who gave us a great insight into Tuscan life, the trip included 1,5 hour trek through vineyards a walk round a wine estate which was interesting and scenery beautiful,we then had a three course meal and tested several red wines which was a... Our guide Michaele was such a sweet man and a great guide! He took us to many sites around the city and gave lots of recommendations for us as well. Great way to get acclimated when visiting. Very easy walking tour.

My wife and I had a wonderful time horseback riding through vineyards in the Tuscany countryside. Our horses (Stella and Georgia) were very calm and well behaved and we both were very pleased with the the experience. Our guide Christian (along with Olympia) were fantastic. Christian was very knowledgable about the region and was an excellent guide through the winery... More

I joined the tour of "cooking class in Florence & market tour". The market tour was interesting and the cooking class was amazing. The chef taught us gently and politely. I highly recommend it.

We signed up for the pizza and gelato making class at 6pm with Giuseppe and Martina and had a great time! Both chefs were funny and helpful. The class lasted about 2.5 hours and the food was delicious!

We had a fantastic evening of food and fun. We had signed up for the PIzza and Gelato class in town but found out that we were upgraded to this experience (and what an experience it was). We met at a certain place in town, walked to the van and were driven out of town to a wonderful villa. I... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
