I can't think of a better way to see and explore the Tuscany region of Chianti! My friend and I had both never driven or even been on a Vespa so we started out a bit nervous. However our wonderful tour guides Elisa and Matteo P. got us prepared, gave us some training and made us feel very comfortable. Once... More

This tour was amazing!!! My friend and I are backpacking Europe and have never been on a vespa before but it was something we always wanted to do, and we are SO GLAD we did! Vespa-ing was a lot of fun! We got to practice first (on a dirt lot which is harder than where you are actually driving on... More

This Vespatour was a very nice experience. We went around with vespas to different castles in the hills of Cianti, one for a wine tour, and one for the dinner in the end. Our guides Mateo and Daniele gave us a fun and great time, both on the road and in the wine cellars. The dinner was nice, and the... More

Took this class with my 19 year old son. It was so much fun. Both instructors were awesome, patient and really helpful. Made our own pizzas and then watched how the gelato was made. Afterwards got to enjoy eating both. Delicious!! A super fun evening. Sat with another family and everyone was really into it. If get a chance, take... More

My wife and I took this class on our 7th day in Italy. From the moment we arrived at the FlorenceTown office, to meeting our chef - Daniel, to the drive to the castle with our driver - Christian, this was a great experience. The staff was friendly, helpful, and most of all, fun. Each person we met at FlorenceTown... More

I never write reviews, so this is a big deal. We had Matteo as our personal guide. This man is world class. He really made us feel welcome and he was very well organised and detailed in his presentation about wine and the the area. He has great local knowledge and made this not just another tour, but a memorable... More

Our experience on this tour was excellent. It was a small group of 6 and our guide was Christian. We would recommend this trip to anyone - it was excellent. Beautiful country, great food, great wine and great company. Christian was extremely knowledgeable about the area and history of Florence, Siena and San Gimigano. We enjoyed his stories and sense... The cooking class was very fun and instructional, we used the same recipe to cook for our family when we got home from Italy. First did a walk through of the Central Market and then cooked sauces, pasta, and tiramisu. total time was around 5-6 hours

Lots to do & see, fabulous food, drink & people. I would definitely be returning very soon, it's not a typical place for children but I had my 9 year old son with me who thoroughly enjoyed it. So many attractions & hordes of tourists.

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
