Thank you Fabian! My wife, daughter and I had the most incredible day touring 3 fantastic vineyards in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. It started with the the ease of booking, and the personal approach Fabian took towards creating our collaborative and specialized itinerary. Coordination was seamless, and while we we were touring some incredible boutique wineries we were tapping into Fabian’s deep knowledge of the region and wine. He made our first ever wine tour in Italy a truly special day. We strongly recommend Fabian to anyone wanting an authentic wine experience and we will certainly be seeing Fabian again on our next visit!

I can’t recommend Fabian highly enough, from the moment you step into his car you know you will be well looked after. We had a fabulous day, the wineries we visited were delightful and you can see they have a great passion for their wines. The same can be said for Fabian he is extremely knowledgeable of not only the wines but of the region. The whole day was a fabulous experience and one we will always cherish.

Our best vacation experience ever!!!! Wow! Where to start! If you come to Florence you MUST take one of his wine tours! My husband and I had the pleasure of taking a half day tour with Fabian and this has been by far the BEST experience we have had! Fabian is engaging, and explains everything about the wine making and drinking process in a way that is understandable. We booked last minute and he was incredibly responsive and accommodating. We were unable to get a table at a winery (due to our last minute reservation) and he booked us a reservation at an amazing countryside restaurant that was incredible! I truly can’t say enough good things about 13 Chianti Road! We are picky and Fabian/13 Chianti road blew us away! 10/10 stars!!!

During our two weeks in Italy, we kept finding ourselves saying how special our Tuscan wine tour was. My fiancé and I agree, our time spent with Fabian was by far our favorite experience in our two weeks in Italy. Fabian was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely thoughtful. He taught us so much about what to look for in wines and made everything very easy to understand. We appreciated the conversations through our day together and honestly felt like we were on a trip with a long time friend.
Fabian picked us up in Florence in the morning, drove us through Tuscan hillsides, and took us to three different wineries throughout the day. Each winery had its own uniqueness, charm and specialties. The differences in the land, altitude, sunlight and more all made for different tasting in each wine. Every part of our tour was top notch and I couldn’t recommend it enough.

These tours are run exclusively by the owner, Fabian. He is not only a sommelier, but has lots of relationships with local wineries and loves to share his knowledge. We booked a custom tour and told him we would have our young kid in tow. As a parent himself he built a customized half day at wineries that had lots of things for kids to explore and were very family friendly (as well as amazing wines). We would highly recommend 13 Chianti and are going to look him up in our next trip to Tuscany!

My wife and I toured with Fabian mid August and it truly was an amazing experience. We had originally scheduled for August of 2020 but werent able to visit due to COVID. A year later Fabian remembered the tour we had originally scheduled and put together new experience for us. Fabian is incredibly friendly, well educated, and a fantastic sommelier. Tasting with him wasn't some intimidating experience where he was judging your knowledge, he truly wanted to know what we thought of the wines and the flavors. His education background in biology and chemistry makes tasting really a fun learning experience, it was like a class: Wine Science with Fabian!
We stopped at 3 wineries on the Brunello tour and at each location it was like we were tasting with family friends. Each winery had a geographically unique location and provided us ranges of flavor profiles from the "same" wines. After the tours were done, Fabian took us through Montalcino and showed us the adorable town through a local lense, something we probably wouldn't have done on our own.
If you're staying in Florence and want a beautiful day trip to experice the magic of Tuscany, I couldn't recommend 13 Chianti Road enough. The day was perfect, Fabian was 100% accommodating with our requests, and we will definitely revisit his tours when we go back to Tuscany.

My husband, son and I took a private wine tour with Fabian and we cannot say enough good things about our experience! Fabian was communicative prior to the tour and was able to customize our tour to make it comfortable for our 4.5 year old son (he even had a clean, high quality car seat installed which was amazing!). He was knowledgeable, warm and thoughtful and we will certainly contact him again when we are in Tuscany. We highly recommend Fabian and thank him for a wonderful tour!

My group and I had a fantastic day with Fabian visiting three exquisite boutique wineries. He picked us up in Florence and as we made our way to the Tuscan country-side we chatted and learned more about each other. We quickly realized not only how knowledgable and affable he was, but that he shared our sense of humor which made our day even better.
The wineries are perfectly selected and provide a delicious glimpse into the magnitude of history and wine of the region. I highly recommend a tour or two with 13 Chainti Road and hope to be able to return to Florence and see more of what Tuscany has to offer!

Fabian was an amazing tour guide. More than we could have asked for! Fabian arranged for us to tour 3 different boutique wineries and it was obvious that the wine makers and employees appreciated Fabian and his expertise. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. We were picked up in Florence and he drove us to the Montalcino region to explore wineries known for their Brunello production. Each vineyard had a different vibe and also different wine attributes due to difference in soil, climate, etc. Fabian has a ton of knowledge when it comes to wine making and wine tasting and it was great to hear his thoughts. Will definitely do a tour with him again next time we are in the Tuscany region!

Spent a great day with Fabian touring Montalcino drinking fabulous Brunellos. Three winery tours with tastings at two and a tasting and great lunch at one. Getting to meet the wine makers, hear the history of their vineyards, and then tasting their wines was great. Fabian is very knowledgeable and receptive to answering all types of questions about the wine, the area, and the history. An added bonus was that he takes photos of you along the way to capture your experience. I would highly recommend.

Hello David,
First of all I want to thank you for contacting 13 Chianti Road.
Greve is located very centrally in Tuscany and the perfect base for a whole bunch of nice day trips. Here are some ideas for wine and food tours:
Private Vernaccia & Chianti Tour - This tour combines white and red Tuscan wines. We start the day in the area of San Gimignano where we visit the town's historic center and two boutique producers of the white Vernaccia. Our multi-course lunch is at one of those wineries. To conclude the day we head over to a winery in the nearby Chianti Classico region.
Private Super Tuscan Wine Tour - On this tour you will taste some delicious examples for this famous type of Tuscan wine, along with some more traditional reds. The tour includes the visit of three boutique wineries and a multi-course lunch at one of them.
Private Brunello Tour - This tour takes you to one of the smallest and most famous wine regions in the world: Montalcino. Also during this day you will visit three boutique producers of the renowned Brunello di Montalcino, along with other wines. Lunch is again at one of the wineries.
Private Truffle & Wine Tour - This last tour suggestion is perhaps the most unique experience: A private truffle hunt in the company of an experienced truffle hunter and his trained dogs. This stroll through the forest is followed by a freshly prepared, multi-course truffle lunch. In the afternoon we visit a local boutique winery.
These are my first spontaneous ideas. I hope you like them. Your dates are available at the moment still.
All my tours include the pick-up and drop-off at your accomodation, transportation in a comfortable vehicle, bottles of water, the company of an experienced sommelier guide and as many photo stops as you wish.
