I can't recommend Todd and Tuscan Trails highly enough. My friend and I had a private day tour around Montalcino leaving from Florence. Todd was very communicative about our plans via email. He recommended a day visiting three wineries, lunch, and a couple of quick visits to local villages. Everything was better than expected. He was right on time. We... More

Our day with Todd was fantastic. He is knowledgeable, funny, and so easy going. Like spending the day on a wine trip with an old friend. A friend who can navigate the sometimes insane Italian driving situation. We visited two wineries. Both of which were charming, full of history and of course, had delectable wine. In between we stopped for... More

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved Todd's Tour. We visited to vineyards, one was an incredible castle with an immense amount of history behind it which todd told us about. Was so interesting, beautiful and just a really fun day. I would recommend this to any couples/familys even solo travellers! you will always be in good company with a small... More

My mom, husband, and I had a great time hanging out with Todd on our day away from Florence. He picked us up at our hotel, and we were off to the Montalcino area. We learned a lot about the wines from this area, especially about the Brunello wines. We went to a few small, family-run wineries, which was incredible.... More

First off, Todd Bolton is an excellent guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about wine in general and more importantly the region in particular. It I s apparent that Todd has fostered relationships with local vineyard owners and management as well as local eateries. These attributes made our private tour with Todd worth every euro. Todd even went out of his... More

We wanted to get out of the city and see some of the countryside as well as experience the local wines. I have been on wine tours before in California and this was nothing like what I have ever experienced before. The tour is a small group which makes it fun and intimate. Todd is super knowledgable about the area,... More

We booked this tour a few days prior to our wedding in Florence. We were already excited to go based on the reviews but this truly exceeded our expectations. Todd picked us up at our hotel in florence and we toured 3 awesome Brunello Vineyards all around Moltacino. We also stopped along the way at some very cool spots like... More

We did the Montalcino Tour. Our party of 10 was picked up from our Villa between Sienna and Florence in a luxury van for the 90 minute trip to our 1st stop. Todd explained the areas we were passing thru and kept the crowd involved. We did 2 small family owned winerie in the hills just below Montalcino before our... More

Great wine tour! Our family had more fun on this trip! We had our 21 year old daughter and 13 year old son. Asking Todd questions the entire day may have been my 13 yr olds favorite part of the trip. I would recommend this tour very highly. We went to 3 amazing vineyards. Sent many cases of wine home.... More

We checked into many tours on Trip Advisor before deciding on Tuscan Tours. This one had great reviews and the Daily Chianti tour worked out for our schedule. I also liked that Todd, the owner, came from the states but has lived in Italy for over 15 years. Todd was very prompt at answering my emails and my numerous questions.... More
