This Taste of Florence Food Tour was a terrific way for us to get to experience the Tuscan culture! We got to meet some very wonderful shop owners. Meat market/deli, bakery, Central Market with an assortment of shops, including a sandwich shop and a fresh pasta shop, a pastry shop, wine tasting and balsamic vinegar, and chocolate shop were all... I've been taking these foodie tours as I trek across Italy. As such, I'm apt to compare them, and this was a good tour. I would highly recommend taking it early in your stay, as you learn so much about Tuscan food and culture, taste at numerous locations, and Karen also provided many spot-on restaurant recommendations I later tried during... Although I generally am not a big fan of tours, I was into this one for the food! That of course has to be one of the biggest perks of traveling to italy. And the tour did not disappoint. It is a walking tour that starts in the morning. Our tour guide, Alessandro was awesome. He gave us an intro... More

Well worth the experience! Our guide was informative, kind and very accommodating to our group. I returned to Canada with great knowledge of quality olive oils, balsamic vinaigrette, gelato and an overall appreciation for a magical place and a magical trip!!!

Our cruise had us stopping in Florence and we thought our teen boys might appreciate something different than most of the excursions we had done thus far. We met at a butchers shop where the rest of the group. I think in total we were a group of 12. Our guide explained the significance of the shop and we were... More

I booked a tour for five adults weeks in advance and despite one small miscommunication regarding scheduling (they gave me a discount on the price because of it), the booking process was very easy. They also went out of their way to provide me with restaurant suggestions in and around the area. I will say that my family and I... More

My friend and I toured Italy in September 2016. We went with Trafalgar Tours and had a fabulous time. We flew to Rome and drove on to Florence and had a fantastic dinner in the Tuscan hills. The next day we coached to Venice, side trip by boat to Murano glass factory then to Burano which is famous for lace and... Well worth the money. A great experience and fabulous food. We would have never found these shops on our own. It was one of the highlights of our trip. We had a group of 5 adults and one baby - they arranged a trip for us with only one day warning. I highly recommend this tour to really experience Florence.

My wife and I are visiting Florence for the first time and wanted an orientation to the city, the food and the markets. Tony, our guide, was absolutely fabulous!! We met at a small shop dedicated to pork....sausages of all descriptions, hams and various cuts of pork. We were presented numerous samples of each product and receive complete explanations of...
