This is a great way to see Florence away from the crowds and tourists. This eating and walking tour was fascinating and great fun. Our guide, Alex, was amazing... he was clearly well known to and liked by the shopkeepers who we met along the way. He gave us both a good view into the local Florence markets as well... More

Carey was very knowledgeable. The tasting and tour gave us a good background for the cooking culture of Florence, as well as typical menu and meal choices. At the end she gave us their recommendations of restaurants of the local residents. We went to 4 of them, all outstanding.

I can't speak highly enough about this tour. We did this on our first day, and it enhanced our trip so much. Our tour guide, Karen, was amazing. She was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. The food we had was truly wonderful, and we felt like we learned a ton about the City. We also left with a list of recommended... More

I did this tour 6 years ago on my first trip, but decided to go again with my college student daughter. Well worth a repeat tour. We did return to 2 of the same places, out of about 6, but in general it is such a good tour that it may be worth doing every time you visit. Tour guide... More

I strongly suggest the Taste Florence Food Tour and, if you can, book it for one of your first days in Florence so you can both orient yourself to Florence and also find some good food and wine spots. My wife and I had the pleasure of taking this tour with Alex, our tour guide, and another lovely couple from... More
