Stumbled on this site from the 13hundreds, lots of history, enjoyable to explore on our city walk and reading up on it's history.

This church is very unassuming from the outside but when you enter there is a beautiful tryptic and frescoes inside. Just nearby keep your eye out for a small sculpture Leonardo style.

Beautiful church with a very calm and tranquil ambiance yards from the many places Cortona offers. Nice place to spend an hour reflecting and soaking up the history, frescos and paintings. Wandering around its inside take a look behind the main alter, looks like a...More

This is a relatively small church near the entrance to the town park on the quiet side of town. Plain on the outside, but nice art work and artifacts inside. Small, peaceful, you do not need a lot of time to see it.

Local and charming church. Not grand, but well loved and taken care of by the parish. It is near the center so take a moment and take in the local culture.

It's difficult for me to imagine how but three people have wrote of this fascinating church, and even more so that one review is so oddly negative. We pulled up our vehicle aside the church waiting to be escorted to our week's apartment one kilometer...More

Peaceful and quiet. Humble building much more spiritual than the duomo's everywhere. Spend a few quiet minutes away from the madding crowd.

Simple but quite tasteful decorated basilica dedicated to Dominicus. Under the altar you will se a shrine with a domincan friar. Don't forget to take a look at the organ.
