Great views in the distance you might as well see the Lago Trasimeno which is very famous for being the setting of battle between the Romans and Hannibal. You can see a lot around from here.

Pick up a gelato from nearby Gelato Ti Amo (see review) or a Pizza al taglio from next door (didn't try but lots of locals went there to get pizza), and come have it here around sunset time; maybe also get a bottle of local wine. Perfection.

Good spot to take in the views , take some beautiful pictures , sit down on the benches ... That's what vacation is all about...we were staying in the center of town, so did not even realized that there were escalators available. Well, that is progress ....and totally unexpected in this ancient town. There are views all around, here you... More

This is a great place to view the all area, you can park outside of the city, and use the escalators to get there.

The view is like a painting you wish you could paint and it never disappoints. On could just sit and sip a glass of wine nearby or a cappuccino

My husband and I found this quite by accident when on the way back to our villa flat, we decided to explore a different route and descend from one of the piazze to a gate at the bottom of town. The panoramic view is stunning and provides photo ops of one of the most memorable vistas you will enjoy in... More

Having a house here we take all our visitors to admire the Belvedere. The panorama is outstanding and as the sesons change, so does the view. However, an even better view of the valley can be had from the very top of the hill, around the side of Santa Margarita church,
