Our group of friends were excited to meet Alessandra in Cortona for our cooking adventure. The result exceeded our expectations. Such a warm welcoming person who knows how to cook up an Italian storm! The atmosphere in her lovely home was perfect; we meet the children, dog and cats and throughly enjoyed our day. I can happily recommend Alessandra to... More

Spending time with a great chef, planning then preparing and dining a four course meal was a new experience for me. It was a very pleasurable experience which I would definitely try again. I learned lots about cooking from Alessandra.

I am writing to say that I certainly received my recipes immediately, that Alessandra welcomed me, my parents, and my family with her warmth, her intelligence, her creativity. I have experienced her class both times I was fortunate enough to visit Cortona; and I cannot imagine returning there without cooking with her again. It is not to be missed!

It has been great to have you over again, and to see your little ones so much grown! Sometimes i eye the side of the book case in which i mark the eight of my kids, and I see the marks of your beautiful boy and girl, and I remeber why I do this. Come back soon! More

This was one of the most enjoyable days we spent in Italy! Alessandra is warm, interesting and great fun! We made a delicious meal together, and afterward we received a booklet of all the recipes we made. Then we had dinner on her beautiful patio...it was a day I will never forget. A must do in Cortona!!

I booked a day with my parents at Allesandra's. I selected her school because of the good reviews that she has received here. I can see why she rates so well with her guests: we enjoyed our day thoroughly. We kicked off by spending time in the piazza getting to know a bit more about Italian food, to know the... More

We had the best time cooking with Alessandra! We are extremely novice at cooking - so I thought it would be a great time to learn while on our honeymoon! My husband is reluctant to cook on a regular basis - so Alessandra made sure to get him involved and active! The food was absolutely superb - best meal we... More

We enjoyed our cooking class. She thought my husband and I very good recipes, however she did not give us any recipes written. We send her a email twice asking for written copies and few weeks later we still do not have any thing emailed to us. We are dissatisfied because it is hard to remember all the measurements. We... Hello Sussan, this review gets me by surprise. We had a cooking class on Aug 16th, and I sent you all the recipes on Aug 22nd. I just re sent to you the email I sent you on that day, that include the all the recipes of the day, and another email with all the recipes, just in case. Did... More

We had an amazing day with Alessandra! Our feast was easily the best meal we had in Italy. Her humor, warmth, and knack for story telling kept us entertained all day. We learned about cooking, Italian history, and life in Cortona; and made new friends we won't soon forget.

My wife and I, together with four friends of ours, joined two others (now friends, too!) for a wonderful day of learning, cooking, eating, and conversation under Alessandra's tutelage. It will have a lasting impact on how we cook at home, and we will long remember the day as a highlight of our trip. Alessandra is superb!

I can confirm all of what previous reviewers said! We met at a coffee bar on the Piazza Signorelli in Cortona on a wet and rainy morning and after a couple of cuppucinos we had agreement on the menu. Went shopping for fresh ingredients and headed to her house. It was only me and my very "poorly skilled husband" as... More
