I can confirm all of what previous reviewers said! We met at a coffee bar on the Piazza Signorelli in Cortona on a wet and rainy morning and after a couple of cuppucinos we had agreement on the menu. Went shopping for fresh ingredients and headed to her house. It was only me and my very "poorly skilled husband" as... More

We just spent the most wonderful day with Alessandra learning to make several delicious Italian dishes in her kitchen. She is a happy, friendly person and so obviously loves spending time with people as much as she loves cooking. My daughter and I met her and two other ladies in the piazza in Cortona and talked about what we wanted... More

We met Alessandra at a cafe to meet, have a cappucino and discuss the menu. Then we went to a few of her shopping haunts for all of the ingredients then to her home. We had the most amazing time. Beside being very entertaining and so much fun, she is a fabulous cook as well as a great instructor. We... More

So. Much. Foooooood. Today was cooking class day with the irrepressible, urbane, verbose Alessandra. 10 hours of cooking, talking, laughing, drinking and eating in her home cucina down the mountain from Cortona. She pulls no punches and had us working hard but enjoyably. We hit up the butcher's in town before we left and learnt that Italy's quality controls on... More

This was my second time to Alessandra and it was every bit as good as the first. Food is incredible and she encourages everybody to get involved and have a go. It is a laid back and friendly vibe where you feel welcome to relax, learn and enjoy.

We just returned from our vacation to Italy a few days ago. I asked my two boys, ages 12 and 13, what activity they liked best about our vacation. They both said it was cooking with Alessandra! We all learned a lot about Italian cooking, and our eager to try out our new skills making pasta at home this weekend.... More

Our family of spent a wonderful day choosing the five course menu, buying the ingredients, and preparing one of the best meals we ate in Italy. We learned a lot and Alessandra entertained us all day. We can't imagine anyone not having a wonderful time.it was a bargain with two meals with wine and dessert.

That's saying a lot since we had no bad days. The owner of the villa we were renting recommended Alessandra's cooking class saying, "You will enjoy her. She is quite a character." She was absolutely right. We had so much fun with Alessandra and we even learned about Italian cooking in the process! We met her as planned at 9:30... More

Alessandra's cooking class was excellent! I went in with a good amount of knowledge about Italian cooking and was quickly humbled. Our day was filled with great wine, great conversation and spectacular food. One of the best days of our trip!

It's very possible we caught Alessandra on a bad day because our experience with her cooking school in her house was quite disappointing. She had a lot of family drama going on that day which seemed to totally distract her. We met at 9:30, waited an hour with her for another couple to show up and they never did which... More

Hello, I am really sorry you found the day disappointing, I don't remember, quite franckly it was that bad, but I take your word for it, obviously you didn't have a good experience. And I am sorry for this. I don't remember you telling me it was a bad wine, I might not have heard you, I wish you told... More
