Ella was our guide and she was delightful and charming. Totally made the tour a fun and memorable experience! Our family (3 teens) found some of the hills more challenging than the "easy" label in the description, but we all felt like we earned our wine and lunch!! Aside from the short periodic stops Ella made to keep our group together (and safe!), we made two main stops: the wine & olive oil tasting and the lunch stop. We asked for our tasting and lunch to be gluten-free and we were blown away. The GF bread at the wine and olive oil tasting was literally the best GF bread we've ever had... even beats GF High Tea at the Savoy in London! Villa Piazzole, where we did the wine and oil tasting, was the highlight between the two stops. Beautiful grounds, delicious wine, fresh high quality olive oil, great service, and of course, the bread. Lunch was at a Omero, which is a wonderful restaurant that we enjoyed GF pasta and a giant 2L bottle of Chianti. After all the wine at Villa Piazzole, we barely made a dent in that bottle of chianti! There appear to be a bunch of bike tours in Florence, but i would totally recommend this one with Artviva. We loved that we were able to bike out to Tuscany and return on our own pedal power, rather than rely on a transport or something! Try it out!

The tour took a whole day over three beautiful cities in Toscany: Siena, Monteriggione and San Gimigniano. I went alone with a small group, around 15 persons. The guide (Marissa) is a genuine storyteller, she knows a lot about history and italian culture & cuisine. We had lunch in a winery in San Gimigniano, where we could also see how wine production works, besides learning about italian brands. I really had a good time tasting cheese and wine. It was pretty awesome!

I did this tour with three of my friends. Our tour guide Ella was beyond fantastic. She was knowledgable without being overbearing, funny, and clearly loves her job. She even joined us all for beers after the tour finished. We were on the tour with two fabulous couples, including the wonderful http://www.tripadvisor.com/members/Q6374DPmichaelm and his wife. Leisurely bike ride (I am someone who barely exercises) The tour took us to a beautiful restaurant overlooking Tuscan hills. While the day was amazing, I do think €70 was a tad pricey, although I am not knowledgable about the going rate for tours, as I have never done one before in Europe.

We had a great day with Elinora our guide!! She looked after everything, kept the group moving and ensured we're safe at all the crossings. Very knowledgeable about the area and what routes to take and what to avoid. She is very well informed about the area. The history culture architecture and of coarse the wine. Bonus today we got to meet the vineyard's owner. A definite must if you're visiting Florence!!

This has to be one of the best tours we've experienced. We began with a bike ride through the heart of the city, woohoo...then up gentle hills to the villa. ì have to say the tour guide, Anna, made the trip fun, informative and educational. The villa is quite an experience if you never visited one before. We enjoyed great wine, even better olive oil/bread, and then lunch which (for this vegetarian) was perfect. More wine, swimming, and sun. Great views and, again Anna, made the trip very enjoyable. ì would definitely recommend this trip to everyone. One warning though. if you do not exercise and comfortably ride a bike, stick to the walking tour.
