We stopped here briefly to admire the view and grab a drink. The espresso and drinks were good, but you are definitely paying extra for the view. The location is very convenient, but the service was just average, which was disappointing given the cost. We read so many reviews saying this was the place to go, but we all agreed... More

We travelled with friends and stopped here a couple of times. We had only drinks here. Drink price just ablout doubled in the evening, probably to help pay for the musical entertainment. Evening cocktails for our group cost us about 15 euros each...you can do better elsewhere.

EURO 23 for two drinks - no thanks!! There are many, better, bars at the opposite end of Corso Umberto which are less than half the price.

Our Rough Guide alludes to this being the place where the smart set hang out, or used to. It's a good location, although it's far from unique in that respect since the entire main drag in Taormina is a nice location. We just had drinks since it was not quite lunch time. A beer and a white wine cost E12.90.... More

Very expensive. Luckily my wife and I only had one drink each - we asked for the bill and were charged EUR 24.00 for 1 gin & tonic and 1 small beer. This is more than double what you would pay anywhere else. No wonder the place was half empty which is a shame as the location is good.

Not to be recommended. Rude and arrogant waiters - products extremely overpriced. Two double espressos; 16,80 EUR !!!

Great location in the central square and with good evening entertainment. Hugely in comparison with other equally good and smaller bars in restaurants in nearby side streets.

Having walked past the Wunderbar many times before, we decided to have lunch there today. We managed to get a seafront table, and we ordered some soft drinks and a pizza to share. The pizza was lovely - as good as we have had in the town, and the Wunderbar's location make it a special place to stop. We paid... More

Like other reviewers we were totally ripped off in this bar. Yes, the location is great for people watching & the night we were there they had a very good pianist playing but this does not compensate for extortionate prices. I admit that I was stupid enough to order drinks without looking at the price list but we only wanted... More

... but only that! A bottle of water, two espressos and a shared (very ordinary) sandwich came to €33. Putting this in context, we paid €70 just up the street the previous evening and had three courses, wine, digestifs and coffee -- in a place with friendly staff. If you fancy spending a few minutes enjoying the view, buy youtrself... More
