This little church is near the gate to the ancient part of Taormina, and worth stopping for a minute to enjoy. The church contains a large nativity scene, mostly made of wood, with charming little scenes. I was glad I stopped to see it.

A beautiful, artistic very large crib on show. Very interesting to visit. Otherwise the church is rather bare.

This small church is little more than a container for an intricate diorama of the history of Taormina. It is on the downhill end of Corso Umberto before the Duomo.

This church is located just beyond Porta Catania, looking from inside of Taormina. Very old and intersting, built in the same style as the Cathedral of Taormina.

Interesting stoney church with a bell tower just outside the Porta Catania di Taormina. Small interior. One of several churches in Taormina. I would not be disappointed if I have not seen it.

Find this tiny former church just south of Porta Catania at southern end of Corso Umberto. The nativity diorama was crafted with love to give the impression of Christ's birthplace had He been born in Sicily. We spent 15 minutes looking at the many fascinating...More
