Pretty nice diving trip along the the riff. The tour starts direct at the base after a short introduction. The personal diving guide sticks to you, which gives you a high degree of comfortable feeling. The underwater nature was nice to see. At all some further information in the beginning of the tour about the area and what to look for in detail would be great.

We spent a week in Taormina with three teenage children. Lovely place, culture and food. And an excellent diving school where our children got there PADI diving license. Nike Diving (thank you, Corinne!) were very flexible with course times so we could mix it very easely with seeing this part of the island. Very friendly and enthousiast people at Nike Diving!

We had a wonderful time in Taormina and thought that it would be nice to explore the coast on a SUP-board. Thus we visited this place, with a very nice staff. We have a SUP-board at home that none of us has any problem using balance-wise. When we came to the store and asked to try a SUP-board, there was a choice between two inflatable boards, both slightly narrower and shorter. My girlfriend tried the first board and couldn't steer it, it turned out that there wasn't any fin attached to the board. To be fair, we were given compensatory extra time, which was a kind gesture. She was then given the second board, that I also tried, and when it was my turn, I was just given the same paddle as my girlfriend. It turned out that the board was way more unstable, and i quickly grew tired in my legs and was unable to stand on the board for long, so I sat on my knees. I also had to adjust the paddle while sitting on the SUP-board. After the paddling I talked to the owner about the difficult board, and he just said that it "was good for training balance". In my opinion, it seems that the main focus of this store is diving, which they seem to be really good at, but SUP-board wise, not so much. The owner didn't seem to know that paddles have to be adjusted to the person's height and didn't seem to care about the difficulty level of their boards compared to the skill level of their customers. And for 20 euros for an hour, you might expect that.

We had a great few days diving with this shop. The shop was responsive beforehand and very accommodating to our needs and interests. The location is beautiful and everyone who works there was friendly and helpful. We are more advanced divers, but the instructors seemed to do a good job with beginners and discovery divers as well. Dives were all at least 60 minutes long and everything was always on time.

We enjoyed the snorkelling tour of around 2,5 hrs. You visit three sites, if you want you can snorkel into the Grotta Azzurra at the last stop and after that swim/snorkel back to the office instead of getting back by boat. The instructor was clear and helpful and didn’t watch the clock all time (officially they say: 20 minutes per site, but mostly it lasted longer). The most important was we had a good time. You can not pay by creditcard/bankcard, so bring cash (30 euro’s per person). Also don’t underestimate the time you need to find a parking spot and walk down the stairs to the beach of Isola Bella. We succeeded after 45 minutes, because it is very touristic there. So go there on time! Also you have to realise you are never sure if you see many fishes and if the water is clear. It depends on a lot of things like the weather at that time and how many boats are in the water.
