On the plus side, the bar itself is a nice location and the drink / ape were fine- a little expensive but within reason -maybe 4*
HOWEVER, we made the massive mistake of ordering some additional snacks . The food was just awful and the staff just as bad at dealing with the bad food. When asked we explained the food was bad - the “tempura” was deep fat fried in several cm of batter and the carpaccio soaked in some kind of “sauce” and equally inedible. The staff member just walked away and offered no explanation or recourse, ignored the table for the next hour, eventually cleaned the table while avoiding any eye contact.
Please don’t order the food!

We really love Daiquiri - great cocktails in a lovely setting - seating is all on the pretty steps and the bar has a lovely chilled atmosphere. Really good service and the cocktails a so reasonably priced and served with lots of lovely nibbles . What's not to like. See you next year for sure.

A great buzzing bar, lovely tunes, great ambience and inexpensive drinks. Love it! Charming service too! Well worth a visit!

Recommended by a local. Just off the main drag down a staircase. Most of the seating is outside in a courtyard. I had local wine which was recommended by the staff. They brought an appetizer platter with 5 or 6 different selections which were delicious and no charge. They also had a small menu w/ other small plates. Very good place to unwind................

A proper chill joint. Great music just to take the end of the silence, this venue is off the main street but no more than 25 yards.
The waiters are amazingly attentive offering great service.
Huge selection of cocktails which (the several) we had were awesome.
More snack, the fish and chips and casaer salad were great.
Thoroughly recommend this place, could stay all night!

This place is really charming and cute. The cocktails are really good and the staff are very nice and very professional. Being here feels like being in a high end classy lounge.

If you've been to Taormina you'll probably saw this cocktail/wine bar. It's on some stairs and in a small building. In both places you'll have a great view of the Piazza in front (if you stay at the building, on the 1st floor, you'll see the church).
I went twice and had some cocktails and all of them were great. Points to the Hibiscus Mojito. The drinks were not only good but the presentation was beautiful. They give some tapas as well.

Sitting outside the duomo I wondered where the best place for cocktails was in Taormina; a swift search on my phone revealed it was this spot just a few yards from us.
Lovely location, sitting on the steps, excellent choice of cocktails (about 9 Euros each) including non alcoholic ones for our son. A delicious selection of tapas like nibbles accompanied the drinks & crisps were replenished once we were near the bottom of the bowl.
We watched bride & groom & some break dancers as we enjoyed our drink as the sun set. Very lively, happening place. Note to management, the tables have angular edges which we caught our legs on initially.

We visited this bar after dinner, the stairs was packed with lively atmosphere. The cocktail menu is vast and the cocktails are to die for.

Get comfortable on the steps or grab a place upstairs,this is the perfect place to sit and people watch whilst drinking perfect cocktails with excellent customer service.It is not cheap but the drinks are superb and refreshing and come with some lovely bar food to munch on. A great place to drink but go with deep pockets if you intend to stay for more than one drink.
