When walking along Corso Umberto, we have always stopped to admire the steps in front of the Palazzo because they are usually decorated with flowers and pots and other displays. When we visited in early June, they were mostly bare. Too bad.

Our B&B was just adjacent to this Palazzo.
It is situated on a very nice and quiet (yet not at night) Piazza where you can have a break and a drink or pastries on a hot summer afternoon.

We just discovered too late that we could get in this Palazzo and see pieces of art.
We missed it and it is regretful.

When you'll walk Corso Umberto from Porta Catania, it is just 100 meters on your right from Piazza Duomo.

I recommend you stop, climb the few stairs and try to enter.
It is well hidden and if as it is written in the other reviews the entrance is free, you have really not much to lose and everything to enjoy.

Interesting free exhibition in a well-restored palazzo which included 17th c graffiti on outside walls. Used to be a night club and featured in a famous film.

We just came upon this by accident . The square is truly lovely with lovely flower pots on the ledges . Another impressive site .
