A superior shopping experience with a wide range of Sicilian food and wine. Informed and welcoming staff, reasonable prices. Take time to browse the shelves. As the name of the store would indicate, the selection of olive oils is outstanding.

It was the second time I went to Olive and on both occasions I got to try all sorts of delicious Sicilian liqueurs, They have it all - salt, oils, chocolates, honey, wine, herbs... anything they have open (or can open) they will, and you can try it with no real push to actually buy anything.. but really, you should. I left both times armed with a great selection of goods. Hopefully they'll last me until my next trip to Sicily, but I doubt it.

We purchased one jar of pistachio pesto to take home after sampling it the night before. I was sure that I could find it in the New York area so didn't need to buy any more. Well, it turns out that I was wrong and am now wishing that I'd purchased more. The oils here were lovely and the service attentive, so make sure to stop by. We even got to speak a bit of French!
