We found this to be a nice area to relax in in the afternoon with a snack and a drink.
Ships of all sizes from large ferries and commercial ships to offshore racing sailboats and pleasure boats.
The area was popular with walkers and joggers.

This is a good location to have a drink and look out over the harbour. Service was a little slow but our waiter was friendly enough.

This marina is located just North of the Industrial and Cruise Ports and compares favorably with many other European marinas. Plenty of nice boats moored ranging in size from about 10m upwards but didn't see any of the mega yachts similar to those in other Mediterranean ports. I'm not sure if the main port area is in Aranella but its also a clean area with an enjoyable promenade walk to Via Amari. A few impressive monuments along the route.

Good Morning 😄😄😄
The secret is to wake up in the morning, decide that the day will be happy and fight to make it happen and enjoy the mature gives us. Good morning! 😜
The Cove is what remains of the old port, Arabs and Normans; Is one of the world's oldest, dating back to the 8th century b.c.
The Cove is a sheltered Cove in U-shape in the center of the city, between the Foro Italico and Via Crispi. Is used today as a Marina for small pleasure craft of Palermo

Palermo is I think the only seaside city I've visited that hasn't its seaside promenade to walk, dine and have some cool time by the sea.
This, La Cala is a bad try for that. Its a small bay with a marina and a very busy two way three lines street, very difficult to cross.
Some small eateries along that noisy street, but far from to spend some more time there.

Okay place for a stroll if you like boats. Some restaurants nearby but much nicer areas of the city - next to a very busy road so lots of fumes. Nearby is Piazza Marina which is a nicer area.

La Cala (The Cove) and Porta Felice are worth a casual stroll with some very nice photo opportunities. The Cove is a protected harbor/inlet which originally served as the City of Palermo's port. It is now a pretty marina and a center for Palermo's tourist activity. The nearby Porta Felice was one of the impressive ancient entrances to the city.

The harbor is very beautiful. There are a ton of sailboats. It was an amazing sunny day when I passed by. A real nice place to sit and rest for a bit.

The area around the harbour basin is somewhat run down - okay for a walk if you are in the area but don't make a special effort to visit. Some restaurants but nothing special and you'll just be breathing in fumes from the heavy traffic queues - better to go a street or two further back. We did find a nice raised walk though that runs from Via Vittorio Emanuele to Via Alloro behind Via Buttera - climb some steps and you get a lovely view of old palazzos on one side and the harbour on the other - very quiet and pleasant.

Avrei bisogno di un numero di telefono del porto per chiedere informazioni ma non lo trovo. Grazie
