Jackie was an incredible tour guide and is both knowledgeable and passionate about Palermo! She knows her stuff, and introduced us to the best arancine, limonata palermitana, and restaurants around the city during our 4 hour tour. Our family of four (2 adults and 2 girls ages 18 and 16) all thought the time was very well spent and fun!

Big, battered and bustling, Palermo is not a city for all tastes. Personall, I like the combination of traffic and decaying sense of baroque grandeur. Its vibrant and atmospheric, sultry, bearing the impress of the stamp that Arab, Norman and Spanish cultures bred into the ancient origins that make this city unique. If you seek a nexus between past and present, i highly recommend this outfit. Don’t be deluded, though , for all of the splendour and grace, its a damaged metropolis working to lift itself from traffic, cacophony noise and poverty.

Jacqueline guided my wife and I on a full day tour of all the key Norman sights in Palermo. She presented a well thought out plan to get through an extremely aggressive day without rushing through any sight. Her knowledge was unsurpassed and she also selected a great lunch spot for us. I would highly recommend Jacqueline for any tour in Palermo.

Jacqueline is a wonderful guide. We are a group of 6. She was prompt meeting us at our hotel of our walking tour of Palermo. She is very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. She tailored our tour to include Jewish Palermo history and sites.

To spend a day in Palermo with a guide who is also a leading historian and author was a huge privilege. Jackie is deeply passionate about Sicily and Palermo in particular and brought the historical sites we visited to life with her extensive knowledge and vivid anecdotal style. She instinctively adapted the pace and itinerary to suit our interests and limitations in the 30 degrees heat. Despite 4 published guides on Sicily under my arm, without her fascinating explanations of the mosaic narratives and symbols in the cathedrals of Palermo and Monreale, we would not have got nearly as much from our visit. We can't recommend her more. Also, if you haven't done a guided tour before - break the habit and do this one
