A pointless attraction where the interior hallway of the stores are all closed / bankrupt. Only the exterior part of the mall has a Burger King and pizza restaurants. Interior is abandoned and all closed with pigeons loitering the area. Not recommended as a "tour excursion" because it's a rip-off but is very close from the Messina Cruise Port if you wanted to take a look of the area. To the left (west) around there is a church chiming Ave Maria song with a turning clock. You can't miss it with all of the tourist buses waiting for it to occur. We wandered in that direction looking for the department store, Coin, which was similar to the Canadian department store, The Bay. Small department store but cute if you wanted to purchase some clothes. OVS is also a department store that sells nice clothes but the quality isn't as a nice as Uniqlo with similar prices. Zara and H&M are also nearby the Messina Cruise Port and eligible for VAT refund. ;)

This historical building shows little of its internal splendour from the outside. It houses several restaurants and coffee shops including a world famous American franchise chain. However the structure’s glass roof and floor tiles make it a magnificent space which, when we visited was being grossly underused. The grandiose splendour with the well-proportioned features is awe-inspiring. Worth the visit even just for a little while, or linger over any food you may wish.
