How did I get so lucky to see this amazing gem!

This is on my walk to and from my air b&b and I asked the man at the front gate if I could take a picture of the front of the house since it was lovely (the front gate you come... read more

This is on my walk to and from my air b&b and I asked the man at the front gate if I could take a picture of the front of the house since it was lovely (the front gate you come in is magnificent). The owner happened to be coming in on his mountain bike and invited me to his... More

Reading the other reviews saying you can arrange private tours, I thought this might be worth a visit. I had email conversations arranging the date and time of mine and my friends tour. However when we arrived they told us they were closed, even though they had other people in the building. I said that we had arranged a tour... More

Last week I went purposely to visit this place at around 11.30 hrs but was turned away by the portiere, who told me that the place was not open to the public although I could see young persons coming out of the building.

I was strolling along the streets of Catania and peeped into the garden of the Biscardi Palace, not knowing where I was, when the gentleman inside said "venga pure, signora!", meaning "come along, madam!". He was about to show the palace to two visitors and I became part of this magic experience, learning about the family's ancient history and wandering... More

The only negative thing I can say about this fabulous villa is that getting to see it seems to depend merely on a matter of luck. The guided tours of the villa are led by the owner !! who has abviously spent millions to restore it buy sometimes he's there and someties he isn't. Don't bother to ask the doorman... More

Our guide was one of the owners of the Palazzo. He explained us the history of the building and family and showed around. Nice, interesting tour. Surely to recommend!

Palazzo Biscari hosts many events, from antique car shows to fashion shows, concerts to tango competitions due in part to the building's history and in part to the beautiful interior. The Palazzo is adorned with Sicilian rococo decor in every room, especially the ballroom. Ruggero will turn on the speakers so you can imagine waltzing in the ballroom to the... More

We visited this beautiful building in the centre of Catania for a wedding reception. I did like the beauty of the place, architecturally harmonious: the balconies, the rococo décor, the painting - it is one of the beautiful gem in that part of sicily located at the footstep of the Etna vulcano. And amazingly the colour and the painting of... More

This Baroque palace is the most important private palazzo in Catania. The ballroom is absolutely stunning.
