A church dedicated to Saint Euplius was built during the 16th century, on the area previously occupied by a paleo-Christian temple. The church was destroyed during WW II bombings, and only the northern and western walls are still standing. There is a crypt below, possibly open now and then. On the iron gate outside the church remains there was no mention on whether and when the site might be open.
