We saw this as part of a larger tour but you can just go here. Absolutely take the cable car up and take the keep. Yes it is pricey but you can't believe how far up they take you. At the near-top the national park...More

We took the cable car and 4WD transprt to 3000m. Well worth it, even though high winds caused the cable car to suspend operations for a while; but 4WD vehicles were brought down the mountain and ferried us to the upper funicular terminal after a...More

Definitely worth the visit. It is expensive as other reviews state. However I dont agree that the Jeep trip should be missed. Based on another review we decided not to take the jeep and tried to walk up. but after 30 minutes climbing we were...More

There is a small tourist area. The mountain is interesting, as you can see the lava flow. We took a trip into the forest by jeeps, which was very nice.

It was the best day in Sicily. We loved every secobd of it, apart from payibg 30 € each for the funicular. Then we hiked for a good hour, cause we didn’t feel like spending some more for the mini buses to take you to...More

It is a must do trip when in Sicily as it is completely different experience than other mountains. I did not go to the summit, only to Torre del filosofo and some old craters (but will think of it when in Sicily next time) and...More

We took the gondola, then the Jeep, then a guided walk at the summit. It was quite expensive and very windy at the top, but the scenery was amazing and the guide was very good. Not for the unfit or those afraid of getting dirty.

Visited today. Too windy for cable cars to operate, so buses used instead. No reduction in the extortionate price of 100Euros for 2 adults & 2 children to go half way up, 200Euros to go to 2nd stage! You don't see or experience anything diffent...More

Yes 65 EUR is expensive for a combo ticket to the cable car and the heavy bus to the top. And yes 6 EUR for parking is also annoying. But like me, most people only get to see the majestic volcano Etna once in their...More

We caught the public bus ATS, €6:90 each return, efficient, get your ticket first across the road and down the street from the office, only available on the day of departure. Once you arrive we did the cable car, expensive but well worth it, then...More

We used Pietro la Rosa via Etna Touring to do a summit walk. They were efficient and informative. Had a great day.

Hi we didn’t need to buy tickets as we had the trip booked for us in England by travel company. It was €125 each and we were driven up to 3000 feet as you couldn’t go higher as signs of activity at the time. I think 4x4 is... More
