The company made it possible for our group to visit our must-see sights in Sicily during our brief one-week stay without the hassle of renting a car and driving. We used their transfer services from Catania to Taormina and from Taormina to Palermo with a 3-hour stop in Cefalu. We also joined 3 of their day trips, namely, Siracusa/Ortygia/Noto; Agrigento and Turkish Steps; and Mt. Etna hike. Excellent and reliable service and everything went smoothly according to our plans without hassles. We really enjoyed all our tours, guides and driver. All the day tours included a substantial snack/lunch with wine/drinks and they will pick you up and drop you at your hotel. All you really need to do is just show up!

I communicated extensively with them through emails before our trip and they were quick to respond and addressed all my requirements. Because they offer extensive services, they were able to tailor the transfers to our needs. It was so easy to just deal with one company to provide all our tours and transfers. There are still many spots to visit in Sicily and I won't hesitate to use them again and recommend them to our friends. Thank you Sicily Day by Day (Danilo, Helena and Antonio) for an extraordinary trip!

This is our 3rd tour with the same agency and we were assigned Dario (an ecology masters student) as the guide. He took us on a interesting hike along Mt Etna and we were introduced to many plants and craters plus an awesome, albeit cold windy view of Mt Etna. We also managed to visit a small cave which was a cavity created by a lava flow. Taormina was a bit less interesting and rushed. We saw the amphitheater facing the sea and walked along a touristy street. Dario was not licensed for Taormina and hence we were briefed and given a walking map and left to roam freely for over an hour. This time round, the group was only our family so it was similar to a private tour. Meeting and drop off point was a convenient 50m walk from our hotel. We had fun on these small group tours which were more personalized than the huge commercial tours run by the major tour operators.

We were only 2 couples. Savors and Castelmola were beautiful and we enjoy great views. We read a lot about Taormina but it was so overwhelming full of tourists and shops that we did not want to stop for too long. The Greek/Roman theatre is great to see but it was a long queue that was not pleasant. The driver/guide did not go with us through Taormina.

I took the etna and taormina tour with this company and the driver came to pick me up at my hotel and we drove to etna.
Problem was the driver was an older Italian who didn't understand or speak a word of English making it impossible to communicate with him. Due to the comm gap I didn't know that we had an etna guide at the meeting point who will bring us for the hike and cave exploration. Thankfully this guide explained everything in English. The etna hike was good with beautiful views and pleasant weather but very windy at times. The cave we went into was disappointing , extremely small with 2 caverns and that was it. The lunch provided was OK and mostly an opportunity to promote the wine they produced. After lunch driver took to taormina where we given 1.5 hrs to explore ourselves. Again I had to call the office to translate what the drive was saying regarding the timing and meeting point. Could have been a more enjoyable experience if they got an English speaking driver.

What a lovely day. All three places well worth visiting, but especially loved the beauty of Noto. Great tour by Joe from 'Sicily day by day'.

It all started with Great customer service, responsive and helpful... with my husband we only had 1 day to see a bit of Sicily and we decided to take a tour.

Our guide Paolo picked us up at our hotel and spoke fluent english (which is in Iraly quite rare). Beside that had broad knowledge about history, geology, vulcanos, mithology, landscape, culture, and so much more. He was fun and great person to talk to. He was prepared to do an "extra mile" for us, to make the trip as pleasant and unforgetable as possible. Wine tour with lunch was good too. But what realy count was the whole experience. We are planing to go back with our child, as a family, and for sure we will contact this guys again. We recommend you to do the same. ;)

Andrea from Sicily Day by Day arranged for my husband and I to have a private tour of Syracuse, Ortygia and Noto while we were staying in Taormina. We wanted to join a small group tour but all were booked so we had a private tour instead. Our driver Dario, picked us up promptly at 9 a.m. and off we went for the day. He was very delightful, knowledgable and professional. His english was very good and he took his time to answer all our questions. Highly recommend this company and our driver/guide Dario. We had a long day of touring Syracuse, Ortygia and Noto. All were very interesting and worth the trip from Taormina. This area is very rich in history and shouldn't be missed.

Well worth the trip to see these amazing places. Tour guide (Iorga) was absolutely filled with details and information about everything we saw. Perfectly organised and made the most of every minute. Recommend to everyone.

I took a day trip from Catania, our driver was Dario, I scheduled the trip on the eve of previous day via cell, was picked up at 8:40 close to where I stayed, and dropped off around 18:30.
The trip was well organized, Dario not only provided us with historical background but also answered questions re present day Sicilly and gave personal tips for Catania. We had a short break for lunch on the beach, with Catanian street food and wine (I think the picnic would be perfect if food included some veggies).

Kudos to Dario for driving difficult roads and navigating insane Catania's traffic!
Well organized tour, highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I took the Siracusa and Noto tour with Dario. Let me tell you, it was awesome! The best part was having a very enthusiastic, proud, extremely knowledgeable and intelligent tour guide, Dario. He lives in Siracusa and was born and raised in the area. He was able to take us on foot all around town explaining all aspects of history, including architecture styles, transition from Greek influence to the Baroque era. Although, Sicily is pretty much picture perfect, it was the great experience Dario offered that made it more than special, from providing us with amazing local sampling of food for lunch to recommending places to eat and visit further. It was like having your own relative showing you around. If you want to get 110% out of your tour, a private one with Dario is highly recommended.
