We had a very good day! Most wonderful mosaics you shall ever come across anywhere in your life! Valley of the temples awe-inspiring! I can not fault the company. Pick up at our hotel was right on time as arranged. Travelled alongside 5 other tourists in comfortable minibus. Antonio is a passionate tour guide and very knowledgeable, a truly great personality! Lunch was amazing! No need to buy extra food as more than enough.

Our guide Gioele, who liked to be called Joe was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The day was well paced and arrangements for the day were made very clear to us. We saw parts of Syracuse/ortygia which we would never have seen if we had gone alone. The archeological park was worth a visit and the written information supplied was useful. The buildings of Noto are amazing. A tour not to be missed

We used Sicily Day by Day for airport transportation and the Agrigento / Piazza Armerina tour. Excellent communication by email to get price quotes and make reservations. Clean, comfortable vehicles and good drivers. We would use them again if we return to the area.

The day was well paced, with 1.5 hrs seeing the mosaics, 1 hr for lunch at a cute deli & wine shop, and 1.5 hrs in the Valley of the Temples. Gioele was an AMAZING guide and driver, he gave us a detailed history of Sicily and both attractions, gave us maps and told us what to look out for. He also answered all of our other questions about Sicily. We learned so much and really enjoyed our day with him.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the sites in the Montalbano TV series. We chose the company, Sicily By Day and we were collected at our hotel perfectly on time. Our guide was Antonio who was very informative and helpful all day. We visited the city of Modica which features often in the programme and enjoyed seeing the historic cathedral and a unique chocolate shop as well as some filming locations. Next, we went to Scicli where the 'police station' is and even got to go inside Montalbano's office and saw Catarella's and Fazio's desk. Our following stop was to Punta Secca where Montelbano's house is. It was fantastic to stand right next to the house and have photos taken. We also had a delicious picnic lunch in town which was provided by the tour company. Finally, we were given the choice of what should be our last stop so we decided to go to the castle used as the location for the Mafia boss. Whilst all the sites featured in the TV series they were nice to visit in their own right. It was a great trip and we thank our kind guide, Antonio.
