I think it ranks with Venice/Rome minus the hordes

It is a beautiful square and is devoid of the thousands of tourists that one sees in Venice or Rome. You can't miss it while walking Ortigia.

Cozy square but mostly interesting for the history

A nice square with a fountain. Not so much to see but mainly interesting in regards of the history of Archimedes.
