Large, well looked after parklands in the centre of town which is popular with the locals once again not really worth the effort to seek it out...

I happened on this area while wandering outside old town Olbia. It is an outdoor sports facility mainly used by youngsters through late teens while I was there- soccer, track, and so on. There is also a nice biking and running/walking course around the perimeter. My favorite was a long parcourse with many stations set up throughout.

This is a lovely central park, next to a canal. It is well used and has lots of runners as well as families just enjoying the green space and shade of the trees. It was impressively clean and well cared for too and there is a large childrens play area as well as an outdoor exercise area with a few machines and tennis courts.

A green space in the town, with lots of room for people to relax. The are various sports facilities for the locals plenty of benches for visitors to just sit within a calm, green environment. Beware the biting red ants if you venture onto the grass.

This is a nice park, with attractive water features, a running track, and a para course. It is very much fitness oriented, but the landscaping is also interesting.

The park is close to the city centre, calm (because few tourists visit it or stay there for long) and well-kept with pretty flowers and waterworks. Perfect for a picnic.

The park and water features are beautiful, but on the day I visited there was a group of 6 boys/men aged about 20 came out of the bushes and were drinking out of the fountain and filling water bottles they were obviously living in there and it can be very quite in there and you may not see other people.

A variety of trees and plants, a water feature, joggers jogging and kids playing, lots of well situated benches to allow sun or shade...what more could you ask of a park. We spent a fair bit of time here, reading, walking or simply passing a little time while waiting for a bus. It has bus stops and cafe/bars outside and you can catch the no.4 bus to the beach here. Enjoy.

Not sure if it was because it was off season but the park was very quiet and empty. It was a lovely day and other than a few joggers there was nobody there! It is clean and well maintained and it is a lovely place for a picnic. No entry fee
