A fantastic sea, in an oasis of pleasure. Sardinia is one of the most heavenly places I have ever seen

This is the best beach in Costa Esmeralda. Beautiful sand and clean blue water. Is not packed ( at least during late june) and it has a nice bar where to drink / eat during your stay.

We stayed in Palau and this was one of the best beaches we visited!!! You pay 7€ to park your car full day! There is a short walk down to the beach! You can use the small shuttle cars down to the beach for 1€ per audult! Children will love it!!! At the beach you can rent two sun beds and umbrella for 25 € in the second line, and 30€ in the front line! The bar offers good variety of food and drinks!!!

Great beach for a day in the sun. Turquise water and nice sand. A lot of chairs to rent but also possible to bring your own gear. Nice view and possibilities to eat. Parking lot a bit far from the beach, but no biggie.

Amazing beach with lovely white sands. Parking is €5 for half a day. Reasonably priced beach bar with nice views.

The beach is fantastic, we visited on the first half of june, and the water was cold but still enjoyable. The restaurant located on the left part of the beach (if we look from the water) is nice and has acceptable food. There are beach chairs and umbrellas along the beach, and they are cheaper than in other beaches in Costa Smeralda. There is people on June but not that much so one can still enjoy the place.

Nice beach, warm water, crowded but not overly so and Mega Yachts to look at. As you enter the beach via a dirt road, (I am surprised that the authorities have not tarmaced the approach road to such an iconic beach by now) you pass a beach bar called Chiringuita and you walk to the sand. On the right is an open stall where you can hire pedalos, motorboats, rigid inflatable boats at varying costs, providing it is not too windy, which for us was for three days on our stay.
There a three beach clubs where it costs between 35 - 45 Euros to hire two sunbeds and a parasol if there are any free as they all seemed to be pretty full. Half way down the beach is Pedros Bar and Beach Cafe, then past the sunbeds is the free public use part of the beach.
We went to the same spot on the free public part of the beach almost every day, and so did some of the other users of the beach, they recognized us and vice versa, they offered us better prime spots on the beach when they left and kept an eye on our beach clothes when we went for lunch or were swimming, it was nice to know the locals or other Italian tourists took the trouble to look after us without even asking, if any of you read this then thank you.
The water was shallow for quite a while as you walked out and was warm. There was the occasional rock on which you could stub your toe.
The beach has life guards in two separate places and has cordoned off buoyed area that restricts how far you are allowed to swim out to, which is actually quite far out. We took our snorkels but it was boring using them as there was no fish / sea life as such in the restricted swimming area.
But what is truly amazing is the 30 plus mega yachts that seem to try and out do each other and moor off this beach in Costa Smeralda, they must cost more money than you can shake a stick at. If you like looking at classy mega yachts belonging to billionaires then this is the place to go.
We did not use the car park, we had a shuttle from the hotel to drop us off, but listening to people who do it did not sound cheap.
On the beach at the back are stalls selling suitable beach wear and games, plus you had people walking around offering you their wares to sell. Prices are negotiable on the most part.
The only place we did not barter was a stall in the middle of the beach that was selling "Tutto 10 Euro", (all bikinis and beach clothes in all sizes for 10 Euros complete). We bought several for my wife and they were for the money excellent quality and fit, (PS she looked great in them as well).

We struggled a bit to find the access to the beach. I recommend to use the last parking down the road to have a better access to the beach club.

You will pay in average 60 to 80 euro per day for 2 bed.
