Really nice beach! Good ambiance, calm en beautiful sea. Also enough beach restaurants/cafés to eat 🙏 I rented a bed for the day which was only 25eur. And it was worth all of the 25euros. I enjoyed myself soooo much at this beach! Would totally recommend to go.

A nice beach for the family, but nothing special.
A decent beach if you want to spend some time with your family. It's a tourist spot, so there are lots of people and if you're not careful you'll end up paying good money for a seat and/or a parasol, but there are free spots aplenty as well. If you're looking for a beach with beautiful water and snorkeling opportunities though, this isn't it, and there are way better beaches a short drive away.

    Sardinia gem of an island
Just come back from a weeks stay here. It is a beautiful island not very touristy at all. The beaches are stunning with clear water brilliant for snorkelling. It is a little gem of a country, so much to explore. We hired a car and went round the north of the island where there are some stunning beaches. Just a couple of points, people don’t speak much English so it is worth learning a bit of Italian before you go. Our apparently universal travel plugs did not work over here so worth checking you have the correct plugs. Car parks are quite expensive by the beaches 2.50 euros an hour. There are very few sun beds on the beaches, most italians bring their own travel chairs. If you do find sunbeds they are 25 euros for 2 for the day. Food is fantastic, but not much meat on the menu. If you like fish and vegetables like I do you will be very happy

Beautiful beach only a 20 minute bus ride from Olbia. Transport was easy and only €1 each way. There are sun beds available for hire (€7) and a couple of restaurant/bars for all your refreshment needs. We went in May and so not very busy but I would imagine that this would be different in the summer months. Highly recommend a day out at Pittalongu.

We came here while staying in Olbia. We arrived via bus as didn’t hire a car. The beach is pretty long with subbed hire available. There are a few beach bars/restaurants along the beach for food/drinks as we didn’t see any shops close by. The water was lovely and clear and pretty shallow for a good distance. Toilets and showers were available (pay to use) at one end of the beach. I would certainly recommend a visit to this beach.

Lovely long beach with lots of room. Sea warm and shallow. Lots of public areas not just lots of sunbeds owned by hotels. Small cafe selling ice cream/snacks etc.

A very nice beach with white sand and clear waters. They have two or three restaurants and a place where you can take a shower using coins. The beach is easy to reach by bus number 4 from the center of Olbia.

Excellent clean beach with lovely mountain views. The sea is turquoise and so clear you can see the sea bream swimming around you. Take some drinks/food with you because there's only a small beach cafe.

The southern beach is in two parts, accessed by via Mare Adriatico and via della Spiaggia and the northern beach ‘Spiaggia di Bados’ accessed by via Mar Caspio, are both yellow sand beaches with one or two cafes with sun beds and umbrellas for rent (€12). A third much smaller and quieter beach Spiaggia Punte Fine is located at the end of via Mar Ligune. All beaches are less than 1 km from the main road ‘SP82’ from Olbia
Transport from Olbia airport (aeroporto costa smerelda) to Pittulongu:
Metered taxi from the airport taxi stand costs about €30. Various websites offer pre-ordered taxis from €45.
Two local bus rides cost €3 (two tickets of €1.50 per ride). Bus stop in Olbia airport outside to the right 50 metres further than taxi stand. Bus No 2 or No. 10 to Olbia via Roma (every 20 minutes) then change to No.4 to Pittulongu- direction Bados (every 30 minutes in summer).
Local bus No. 4 from Pittulongu (last stop: Bados) to Olbia every half hour from June to September; once per 1 or 2 hours from October to May, check the timetable at the road side (Italian only) or on the internet www.mycicero.it or www.aspo.it or by sms +39 320 204 1086. One ride costs $1.50
To travel to airport, take bus No.4 to its terminus at Sacra Famiglia on via Roma, Olbia then switch to bus No.2 or No.10, which run which frequently.
Some of the local restaurants have secured Wifi, if you are their paying customer such as a meal or renting sun bed and umbrella on the beach.
The local bakery (Panificio) on via Mar Ligure, has plenty of freshly baked goods and friendly staff.

Enjoyed a couple of peaceful afternoons on the beach. Took a nice relaxing walk around the bay and ate at Mama Beach club both visits. The beach is clean, white sand and crystal clear waters. It does however sometimes get a little windy so watch out for flying sand.
