DOLPHIN OBSERVATION

Dolphin Watching is one of the most requested trips. Dolphins have lived free in Golfo Aranci for a long time and now recognize our boats. It starts from the MARINA DI OLBIA port and we make a tour to the Capo Ceraso and Tavolara islands. We visit the Doctor's Beach and stop for snorkeling. . In our excursions we offer a good aperitif on board based on always fresh Sardinian ingredients. We make numerous stops to enjoy the beautiful sea of Sardinia and take many baths to cool off after sunbathing. Furthermore, on the islet of Figarolo, among the Mediterranean scrub, it is often possible to spot the mouflons that permanently populate the island and, in the period of late summer, the gray herons.
We have experience in the field of boat trips for a long time, our excursion is now known as one of the best trips to do in Olbia and Golfo Aranci. We are waiting for you on board. Happy holiday

The mountain is quite high but, fortunately, accessible by car. From the top, where a figure of Christ the Redeemer is located, you get a great view of Nuoro way below and large part of the province. The place is quite windy so remember about something warm even in the summer.

You can easily drive up to the top in the car and park it by the food kiosk. Then you can walk to the statue of Redeemer where you can enjoy some nice views. There are two churches at the top. One is surrounded by a park and the other one if more like a chapel and is hidden in between the trees.

At a height of 955m you need to decide whether you want to burn off the excess pound or two gained by exotic loitering on gorgeous beaches while snacking on the wonderful culinary specialities of Sardinian cuisine. The other option is to cruise en route to Via Manzoni and choose to drive up for the heck of it. After all its a mountain. Park your vehicle at the designated car park and follow the dusty track and 49 steps up to the peak. At the top there is van impressive brass statue of ll Redentore (Christ the Redeamer) by the sculptor Vincenzo Jerace. If you are here in August 29 there is a procession that climbs up the mountain as a climax to the 10-day festival Sagra del Redentore. The mountain offers breathtaking views and wooded slopes, one of which we sat our picnic out on.

The drive up the mountain is fun to do with spacious roads. Lots of spots to stop and enjoy the view. The view from the mountain is quite nice, but not worth the drive if you go there solely for the view. Its the highest mountain in the near surrounding.

Beautiful. No dramas parking but if using Sat Nav keep going up after it tell you to stop. Suggest decent foot wear and take loo roll for the toilets.
