We loved all the beaches along the 8 km stretch of Pietro, but especially enjoyed the area further from Cagliari as they are less crowded. You can get there easily via bus or bicycle. Please visit!

Visited here from a cruise ship, after doing segway in the morning. Caught local bus there and back but driver just waved us on when we tried to pay so not sure where you normally pay for your ticket. Beach was decent all buildings seem to have graffiti daubed on them and not artistic graffiti. Very long beach plenty if room... More

So I read the reviews and came to Poetta Beach - nice beach, nothing amazing or special but really big so plenty of room. One end is close to a marina and good for those wanting a sunbed and umbrella, but for those wanting a good time with plenty of space, head down the other end of Poetta Beach. Now,... More

Nice sandy beach, clear water. But it is crowded. Ok bars for a quick snack along it. Rental chairs at several private beach areas.

This is the city of Cagliari beach...a long stretch of sandy beach with blue waters. Well kept and clean compared to many others I visited around the world. There are kiosks for refreshments every few meters, they all serve food and drinks including aperifs that you can sip while contemplating the beauty around. Sun loungers can be rented to make... Great beach, shallow cool waters, ice cold showers, hawkers are everywhere and don't bother us; everyone has to make a living. Beautiful beach, no problem.

Many years ago while with a tour group in Rome our Sardinian guide said that the best beaches in the world (or at least Italy) were in Sardinia. Well yesterday I had the chance to determine if she was right! And, best is highly subjective, but this was a great beach. We had only 5 hours in Cagliari (cruise) and... More

Very popular beach during the peak tourist season. Water is clear and there's a lot of places to rent two chairs with umbrellas for around 20 euro. If you're staying for more than a couple of hours it's worth it! A lot of people during the day but it's still possible to move around on the beach. Would recommend a... More

Awesome beach with many amenities nearby. We visited the Emerson section of the beach, nice white umbrellas! Service at the beach is good, but be prepared to pay for it. €26 gets you an umbrella and two sun chairs. VERY family friendly as there are people taking care of the children, and play area for kids. Go early as many... More
