Near the Archeological Museum

One of the towers of the old town area. It is a bit of a climb to get up to this historic core from the city. The museum is great, and this tower is very visible.

Outstanding view of the city and its environs. Impressive work of architecture. Well worth the modest entry fee and the very many steps. Protect your smaller children because the steps are a bit exposed, long and steep and handrail hard for little hands to hold. Chose a good weather day for the best long-distance views. (There are two very similar... More

Even though it takes a long time to climb up the wooden stairs that feel a little bit clumsy, this low priced sighstseeing point offers a great view of the city from both sides.

You get a great view of this city from quite a few vantage points as the old town is perched on top a hill I would either do the elephant tower or this one, as both are pretty much the same. The views are spectacular and worth the climb.

Well worth a visit, although they might get more traffic with kids going free. No kids under 6, as stairs are steep. the view is magnificent from he tower.

The view from San Pancrazio was super - we could see most of Cagliari and we enjoyed the breeze. Unfortunately the binoculars were not working -- we would have liked to see the flamingoes through them -- but it was well worth the climb..

Completely open on one side and quite steep, open, narrow tread stairs but at least there are hand rails. Constantly changing view of the Castello area and port from each floor until you get to the top where you get 360 degree views of the whole city.

Tower of San Pancrazio is a impressive historic towel, fuul of history, just like its twin tower Torre d'Ellefante. Worth a visit strolling along old Catello.

Scale the wooden staircases to have a fantastic view (especially of the inner city and the mountains) of Cagliari. You should also consider the Elephant tower which has a better view of the port area.

It was 3 Euro per person to climb the tower. We didn't do it since we were a group of 6 and the walk up the hill from via Roma was already enough of a climb. It was cool to walk under the tower and under the huge Medieval doors. There was an elevator at the bottom of the hill... More
