The Cathedral was nice. Pretty view in a beautiful part of the city. Nice to walk around here and see other points of interest as well

Being a non-religious person, visiting churches and cathedrals is more of an architectural and a cultural thing for me. This is a must-see when walking around Cagliari! It also makes you realize how enormously rich the churches of different religions are. And the view from the area behind it is jaw dropping - thumbs up!

A must if you are in Cagliari even the steep walk up through the narrow ancient streets peeping into the open doors watching the craftsmen at work. The cathedral is simply beautiful and the carvings and murals breath taking. We were there during a time when European cities were suffering terrorist attacks and there was no better place to sit... Inside is even more gorgeous than outside. The near cafe in the square is expensive and the food quite average.

The cathedral had lots of carvings and statues and paintings on the ceilings. It was truly a feast for the eyes. Truly stunning and totally worth visiting.

If you have been to Europe more than once you know that "seeing another Cathedral" gets tiresome. But... you should do this one - built in the 13th century in the Pisan-Romanesque style, it obtained cathedral status in 1258. In the 17th and 18th centuries it was renovated along Baroque lines. Overlooking the Cagliari water front, it is an inspiring... More

I love old European churches - so much life has been lived - so much joy and pain witnessed - sees beginnings and endings - Baptisms, weddings, funerals - they are central to the community. This one was delightful - from the outside, it looks like nothing special, inside, the marble and attention to detail is worth checking out! It's... More

I always like to visit a cathedral of my namesake, but this was something else. The interior was truly stunning, so many beautiful things to see and gorgeous details - a photographer's dream. The crypt was most unusual and worth going down to. Quite a hike up from the train station, but very much worth the effort.

This is a stunning cathedral, ornately decorated in marble, without being over-embellished. The silver tabernacle and the crypt are two of the outstanding features
