Just 25 minutes walk from the Alghero center one can find this nice, clean and sandy beach and dunes. The pine forest fringing the beach create shade, good if you want to relax all day on the beach. There are restaurants of coffee shop with good prices for drinks or snacks. You can lie just on the sand or rent... More

Well worth walking that bit further out of Alghero to this beautiful beach. Much less busy with nice beach cafes and lovely views. The beach bus does stop there.

Lovely beach, peaceful and beautiful. A little walk from Alghero centre, and could do with a few more facilities, so take a picnic and you'll not have to move all day! The water is gorgeous and perfect for the children to enjoy.

Got the beach bus from hotel to stop no17 for maria pia beach, brill day brill beach, we paid only 12 euro for 2 sunbeds and a parasol, there was a small snack bsr and drinks and toilets where we were and the lifeguard looked after us very well and his partner in the small snack bar. A lovely flat sandy beach with a couple of beach bars and lounger hire included in the hire is wifi so you can write your reviews The sand is flat but the sea was fairly choppy when we went so small children could easily be knocked over. To access the beach you walk through a pine wooded area which has... More

Beautful set beach with a backgound of Pine Trees. Almost white sand , no stones and very clear water. Less busy then the beaches in the Lido area, also cheaper to rent beds.

It is a Beautiful beach closer to city center with dunes and pines. Good infrastructure and clear sea.

Having tried many of the local beaches, this one is by far the best. The sand is white with beautiful and shallow crystal clear water. There is a lovely little beach bar with sunbeds called Summer Dream which I would also recommend (there are a couple of others but this part of the beach was the best). For some reason... More

Maria Pia beach is the most beautiful beach in Alghero. The water is cleaner than the beach next to Maria Pia.

View lovely. Water clear - sandy but rocky in places with lots of little fish swimming about. Sand has a good deal of vegetation debris. You can pay for sun beds etc or go freestyle. The beach bar was pleasant but not cheap - we're getting used to that in Alghero. Several hawkers, but they aren't too persistent.
