Lovely, not too crowded beach...

..but be sure to get there early as there are not many umbrellas and sunbeds on offer and they do run out

Beautiful when crowded or quiet which depends on the weather. When it is calm the beach is busy specially at the weekends but when windy, it is almost deserted. Lovely white sand and gently shelving sea makes it perfect to swim because you don't go out of your depth, There is also a life guard on duty who actively patrols... More

I go to this beach almost every year. The sand is very white and soft. Arrival is through a pine forest 2 minutes walk from the main road, where there is car park for about 5 euros a day. it is possible to arrive from Alghero by bus or on foot, about 1/2 hour walk. it is possible to rent... More

We did not rate the via lido beach at all, it was dirty and over crowded, hop on a bus from along via lido or the old town and you find yourself at a pine tree forest backed gorgeous beach. You can hire loungers and umbrellas, there are people walking along the beach selling coco nuts, drinks, some clothes etc... More

A beautiful sandy beach with clear blue sea and you can paddle out quite far, sun beds and parasols available to hire and beach cafes to obtain food and drinks and there are toilets.

This beach is ideal for all ages especially children. Sand and no cigarette buts in sight with clear water to splash around in. The bar on the beach served everything that you would expect for drinks and snacks and this was our favourite beach for our two week holiday. All beach furniture was in very good condition and well managed.... More

With its shallow crystal clear water, this beach is fabulous for everyone and even small children. The smell of pine trees hit you as you walk through the shaded woodland to the beach. The gentle breeze and option of shaded areas from the trees is good too.

You walk through a small strip of pine forest to reach the beach. If you take the beach bus there, there are 3 stops covering the length of the beach. We went on a Sunday and it was very very busy, there were people everywhere. Not sure if this is because of it being on a weekend. There are sunbeds... More

Not for you if you are looking for a place with easy walking and parking. Water still cold in last week of June. Better if you bring your own umbrella, difficult to find a free one.
