it was small and tightly packed - rented chairs for about 6 euro each - tough to find a spot (need to accept you wk get some dirty looks). sand was average, good people watching . water very clear. food was very poor (ordered a burger and that is exactly what I got / no bun etc and very undercooked / rubbery).

Great beach with not a lot of people and dedicated paid parking for 1.5 euros/hour. Beach bar with pricy food and chair and umbrella rentals for 9 euros/each. We went at 9:30 a.m. and there were only a few people there and it never got crowded. The only negative was once the vendors starting coming around and they NEVER stopped so we felt like we were in Mexico. Hate that, sorry.

Skip Spiaggia delle Bombarde and go directly to Del Lazzaretto! A gorgeous beach with many cozy coves, splendid views, crystal clean blue waters, and a small, fun bar with great food and drinks. We visited almost all beaches around Alghero but Lazzaretto was an absolute winner!

Now that we have been I would place this beach behind Maria Pia (first) and Mugoni (second) but and it is a big but that is largely because we want the chance of shade when visiting a beach. Maria Pia and Mugoni are both backed by pine trees and that allows us to crawl in to shade when the sun gets too much! If you are a sun worshipper all day and every day then Lazzaretto will be fine but any one with young families for example may want to think before heading here for the day.

Beautiful beach. Lovely sea and sand. We cycled here from alghero, cycle ride was fine took approx 45 mins, bikes we hired were rubbish so worth paying a bit more for a better one. Plenty of parking and we locked our bikes to a signpost. Was quiet as we visited start of October. people selling merchandise on the beach which are soooo annoying, but this happens at all the beaches we visited in Sardinia. Really lovely, would highly recommend. 20 minute walk from here to la bombarde beach which is another gem of Sardinia

Limited facilities but s beach and clear sea to die for. Small beach gets very busy in summer and parking can be tricky. The water is renowned to be cooler than other beaches around. Alghero.

This is one of the nicest beach close to Alghero. Only 10 minutes drive away from the city and offers some really nice quiet CALETTE. Away from all the busy spots, this is a peaceful corner where to relax in such a nice surroundings. The water is clear, clean and blue.
