My first visit to Sardinia and I knew nothing about the wines and olive oil produced on the island, but this tour tells you all you need to know in a friendly way, without burdening you with too many facts!
We were told about how the vineyard started, the history and traditions of the Sardinian countryside, and toured the vineyard and the olive grove which, in the early evening, was very pleasant. We sampled the wines together with local cheese and hams, and at the end, we sampled the olive oil which had a wonderful flavour!
You can buy the wines and olive oil whilst you are there as they don't seem to export them to other countries.
A delightful visit in lovely surroundings!

It was just perfect. You get a lot for a price you pay. The hosts were very professional and told us many things not just about the wine and olive oil but also about Sardinian traditions, history and culture. We even went to see the vineyard and olive trees at the end. The wine, olive oil and dry foods we got were very tasty. I would 100% recommend this. Beautiful.

Relaxed and interesting wine tasting experience, the guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. There was one rosé, two whites and two reds. They were accompanied by some local cheeses and meats. At the end we also sampled their extra virgin olive oil. Everything was delicious and the setting was lovely. A nice way to spend a relaxing Sunday evening.

Set in a small private vineyard. Quite a small group (so book early) in lovely surroundings. Very knowledgeable host who set out the beginnings of the vineyard and the processes in great detail. Also a selection of local sheep milk cheeses matched by the host for each wine. All the wines had a story and were wonderful. Being a small vineyard, their produce is sold onsite (or drunk at the wine tasting events! The olives were moreish, so different from the shop bought mass produced ones, as was the oil. Well worth a visit...

Fabulous experience and highly recommend-don't come to Alghero without doing this. The tour is done by the owner (Anna Maria) who is articulate, informative, passionate and genuinely interested in making sure the guests have key take aways on winemaking, olive oil and Sardinia! The history and context were so clearly explained, the setting is spectacular, especially with sunset- everything was so well prepared. The wines tasted great, the local food plate and olive oil the same. We even got a lovely dessert with a drink of Mirto. We didn't need to have dinner afterwards! There were 5 wines included in the tour, 1 white, 1 rose and 3 reds. A half glass for each which was actually quite generous. We were not that many folks in the tour and we got to taste an additional white wine which was a real bonus. A highlight during our stay in Alghero!

The Owner of the winery is very knowledgeable and had a great contact with the group. She's also very patient with all the questions that the guests may have. The wines were also interesting to drink, especially with the background told by the Owner and the beautiful garden and vineyards around you. You can also buy the products of their land at reasonable prices.
As with most wine experience tours, it is tricky to get to the location because they are far from city area. This was also the case with this one. However, we managed to get reasonable bus connections from Alghero. Still, we had to wait 1 hour at the location, since we have arrived early. At first, the Lady who owns the winery was not pleased but after a moment her assistant came in and invited to us to the garden, so it was OK.
All in all, it is well worth your time and money.

We went as a couple and met other foreigners who like ourselves like wines and olive oil. The place is gorgeous and Valeria was great at explaining. Highly recommended

A fantastic vineyard - very well kept. We arrived at 18 o’clock and seated in a main room with a small group. One of the owners gave us some history about Sardinya, types of grapes produce. We started with vine tasting of two chilled wines. After that we had a tour of the estate both vine and olives - we got some more info. After the tour it was time for more vine tasting and was also served a very nice plate of typical Sardinian food with the red wine.
We learned a lot and are very grateful that we chose this vineyard.
You are well taken care of and you know they have put a lot of effort into this tasting - they are all very knowledgeable 👌🏻 And of course you are able to buy their product - like we did🤩
A perfect evening!

We would like to come for a winetasting. We want to rent a bike when we are in Alghero. How far is it to cycle from Alghero to your resort?

Hello,
The distance is about 10 km from the center of Alghero.
Many of our customers arrive by bicycle using the cycle path between Alghero and Fertilia and then continuing for 3km on the SS 291.
You can check the route on google maps.
Buongiorno bisogna prenotare la visita dei vigneti grazie

Is it ok to come with kids? How long we have to book the visit in advance?

We closed now, we will open again next April for visits.
Since the services we offer are guided tastings of wines, something of any interest for children who get bored during the service, we do not accept visitors under the age of 16 for the tastings. Also, there are usually more people in the tasting room during the guided tasting and small kids may disturb other visitors. Other services, such as the pool or bar service in the garden are restricted to rooms' guests, for outside visitors we offer only wine tastings and shop.
When we are opened on our webpage in the section Tours - tastings it is going to be listed the days and times when visits are possible

We are reluctant to spend €50 on a taxi - is there an inexpensive alternative? Does anyone organise visits from Alghero?

Hello, there is no public transport in the countryside even if we are only abot 10 km from city center. As clearly published on our website the only 2 possible alternatives in case you do not have your car is to come by taxi or to rent a bike for the day and come by bike, of course it depends on you if you are able to cycle. this distance. Renting a bike for the day is about 8 euro.
