cala pisanu we found by chance when we took the strata panoramica from villasimius into direction to cagliari. the beach is maybe 7 kilometers far from villasimius and we were completely enchanted about the beauty of this natural beach. it is necessary to bring food and drinks with you, because a beachbar was not located there. the parkingplace was hidden behind some bushes near the strata panoramica shortly behind "porto sa ruxi" and a small path brought to this beautiful beach, which is framed by spectacular rock formations on both sides. because we travelled in low season on sardinia we had cala pisanu nearly for us alone and so the possibility to let dangle our souls. cala pisanu is not the right beach for families with small children, because the waves are high, the currents strong and the fine sandy beach falls steeply to the sea. the water was crystalclear but cold and it shined in all shades of blue. we can recomment cala pisanu very much, specially for travellers who love natural beaches and tranqiullity.
