An old square in old Bari, it was the political center in the 16th century, characterized by the column of justice and the Palace of Sedile built in 1543 as the seat of power of nobles and primaries, the clock tower was the first, in the south of Italy, with the acoustic striking of the hours.

A old town of Bari. Electic mix of cafeteria serving Italian cuisine coffee gelato and sweet confections. Walking tour highly recommended with comfortable shoes shades light cotton wear and hats. Well preserved and the gentle breeze from Adriatic makes the effect stunning.
Italy known for fashionable people, will never disappoint you with plethora of clothing shoe and accessories stores and well dressed people chatting animatedly at all times of the day over endless cups of capuccino/espresso. Bon Journo Italy

This is on the edge of the old town area, and has outdoor restaurants and gelato. The water station (yes it is intended for drinking) was a life-saver for filling my bottle on a hot day.

Modest size square with a fountain and a clock but perfect for a relaxing hour or two as you can people watch while enjoying a drink. Because of where it is situated there is always a lot of people traffic (and the odd vehicle) passing through the square on one route or another.

Bustling piazza after dark with lively restaurants and bar frequented by locals and travellers alike. The Mojiteria stays open until the not so early hours pounding out hip hop and reggae music, The Officine Clandestine offers excellent draft beers and local dishes and the aquare acts as a hub for locals to collect and socialise!

Tiny market square in the heart of the old town. Must-see thing for every Bari visitor. There are some restaurants now to have a meal during the day.

I highly recommend it on a saturday evening, when it is full with locals hanging around, eating street food or sitting in one of the many pizzerias. Grab some panzerotto, a couple of beers, sit down near the fontana and enjoy the vibe!

One of many such Piazzas around the old town of Bari, the square is surrounded by restaurants and ice cream parlours, all searching for the tourists Euros as are the street entertainers that come out at peak times. Its a great place to sit and people watch with a coffee for 30 mins or so but it is only one of many such squares.
