UNESCO's Alberobello and Matera from Bari

48 reviews
With a private guide, visit two UNESCO World Heritage Sites in one day. First, explore Matera, including the Sassi area, a complex of cave dwellings carved into the mountainside. Nearby, rock churches house 13th-century frescoes. Then it’s on to Alberobello to see the Trulli, an awe-inspiring collection of mortarless limestone dwellings, a prehistoric building technique still used in the region.

It was not easy to find a salon for manicure and pedicure and intuition brought me to this SPA! Lucia, a very professional cosmetologists done a great job! the price for the service is very doable! while mama was busy with her stuff, my teenage daughter enjoyed herself in the perfect swimming pool! can recommend this Spa salon!

Went here for a conference november 2015. Outside the city centre, not ideal for sightseeing. Best things first: The rooms were great, spacious, silent - I love double doors! That said, the hotel itself is rather kitsch in its design and while there are plenty of staff about, service is mediocre. Had to wait for coffe for (average) breakfast on 2 occasions which annoys me to no end, since I just want coffe w. no frills.
