Adriatic shore

An amazing view on Adriatic sea from barese coast. In early November there was a warm evening with unforgettable feelings.

Nice place to walk even in October, there was sunny and warm. Relaxing views and fresh Mediterranean air

We ended up seeing a lot more of the Luongmare than we intended as we traversed its length several times, trying to locate the Basilica, as well as parking. Still it is a great view of the harbor with both fishing boats and cruise ships. There is a long, popular promenade for a stroll by the sea.

We enjoyed the walk along the waterfront, punctuated with vistas and ending in the fishing harbor, which is in decline but still Interesting and a bit malodorous as the fish cleaning area ferments in the sun. Good views of Castle Antonio and of the tour boat tourists, Italian tourists and locals enjoying the fresh breezes and sun.

They told us it was one of the major landmarks to visit in Bari. Like all the rest, it was disappointing. You could have a brief stroll there but don't expect too much.

I don't remember the last time when I breathed this much of fresh air! The promenade was walking distance from our hotel St Nicholas Plaza in Old Bari. The promenade is really long and you can enjoy the view of the Adriatic Sea for an infinite amount of time! The promenade is very clean and looks very beautiful even during... More

The promenade is beautiful and the view of the city in the background lovely. I watched a fisherman slamming the squid on the rocks to tenderize the fish. There were buckets of sea urchin and fresh vegetables for sale. I wish I had a kitchen in my hotel! I am #LivingSomedayToday

If not "the best" promenade in Italy! One can walk it fm the port all the way to the city sandy beach of Pane & Pomodoro. A healthy early morning walk, or a leisurely one at sunset time or evening. Simply stunning, clean and very well kept/maintained.
