I don't remember the last time when I breathed this much of fresh air! The promenade was walking distance from our hotel St Nicholas Plaza in Old Bari. The promenade is really long and you can enjoy the view of the Adriatic Sea for an infinite amount of time! The promenade is very clean and looks very beautiful even during... More

The promenade is beautiful and the view of the city in the background lovely. I watched a fisherman slamming the squid on the rocks to tenderize the fish. There were buckets of sea urchin and fresh vegetables for sale. I wish I had a kitchen in my hotel! I am #LivingSomedayToday

If not "the best" promenade in Italy! One can walk it fm the port all the way to the city sandy beach of Pane & Pomodoro. A healthy early morning walk, or a leisurely one at sunset time or evening. Simply stunning, clean and very well kept/maintained.

We were lucky enough to have a beautiful view of the seaside from our room and to walk its expanse over several days. The sea is enchanting whether calm or angry. Spend time leisurely strolling the Lungomare.

As a jogger I love running along the Lungomare in the early morning, joining a lot of locals walking or jogging as well. The pavement is cement and wide, and from it one can see the sea, with small fishing boats on one side and the city across the road on the other. One passes a small fresh fish market,... More
