Bari is a beautiful Italian town, but it takes time to fully understand its friendly nature.. The waterfront (lungomare) can help you achieve it. Take a chance on Bari!

Beautiful place for a quite long walk if you want. There are a lot of benches along, so you can enjoy the view or the sound of the see. I found it safe and clean.

Lungomare is a great place for walks in day and night. There are a lot of bars and restaurants especially during the weekend. It is very popular among the local people. When you go for a night walk you will see whole families spending time...More

Bari is a "bellissima" city as they say into Italian language . Murat quarters are very nice. Lots of shops, cafés, restaurants and tipical food. Few blocks from Murat streets you can walk to Lungomare for a relaxing promenade. Lungomare is fabulous and crowded of...More

Sometimes the sea smells good - other times, it may be of dead fish or motor oils. Still, a walk or even rest here along the water is a great part of a visit to Bari - in my opinion.

Good lighting for night time and clean. Police can always be seen, so I felt very safe. The ferris wheel is cute as well.

All along the Adriatic Sea there is a promanade you walk along. There are many benches to stop and sit on and look out to the sea. The water is clear and beautiful. It is such a restful activity.

This town is blessed with one of Italy's longest seafronts; to stroll along the lungomare is a real pleasure and also the neighbouring lungomare Nazaro Sauro seafront, and that will be the best walk and way to discover Bari on the sea; nice ambiance, the...More

We visited Bari in January and, while the Old Town was quite dead at this time except for Piazza Mercantile, Murat was alive and well. A shopping district with a lot of culture, apartments, restaurants, bakeries, cafes, bars, clubs and, obviously, shops, it was the...More

Lacking complex fruity counterbalances it has gravitas and is open to the Adriatic which it rightly portrays. The modular change as you walk the entire length does not acquire momentum apart from the initial impetus. Some buildings of the 1920-1940 are of character, symbolic, structural...More
