It's a plain, spare church. Unless you're really, really religious, I'd give this place a pass. Nothing much to see here that can't be seen in thousands of other typical churches throughout Europe. Not bad, just completely unexceptional.

Typical style church similar to many in Bari, Beautiful ceiling and interesting crypt - extremely well preserved mummified remains of Saint Columba.

We really loved this Church, so simple in its Romanic style and its "rosetta" above the main entrance which gives a beautiful light effect. Very spiritual.

The cathedral was built in the 13th century, it represents an example of Apulian Romanesque architecture. In the basement are kept important archaeological finds.

I can't explain it, but when i entered the Cathedral and starting appreciating the Stations of the Cross, I became emotional. I have seen many Cathedrals in Italy, and they are all phenomenal - this one included.
