We drove to this little hill which is just 5 minutes drive from the center of the town. There’s the church and also a cloister. You can walk also. There’s a way which is covered with a gallery of arcades. From this place there’s a nice view on the whole town of Vicenza.

Nice for photo ops, and taste of local culture, especially in Sunday’s when the Italians are all attending church. Lots of parking, great views of Vicenza from look-out across from parking lot.

This is a Roman Catholic Church and minor basilica in Venice. The Church, a Marian shrine stands at the top of a hill where visitors can get a great view of the city in the distance. Inside the Church you will find beautiful art work by the masters of that era. As you travel to other nearby attractions, be sure to stop by, preferably in the early morning hours to avoid the crowds. There is ample parking, however, we found that early arrival was best.

This is one of the prettiest church I’ve been into. We have all been to mass here once. They do ask that visitors please cover their shoulders and upper legs, no workout clothes either (according to the signs). Lots of parking and it overlooks the city.

Words can’t describe the breathtaking beauty-the pictures don’t do it justice so if in the area, do not miss it. Then grab a gelato and embrace the view of Vicenza from the Mount. You can see the Piazza dei Signori below. What a lovely, peaceful day. You won’t be sorry.

This is a stunning site, by far the most beautiful church I visited in Vicenza, packed with art.

There is a free-to-enter museum under the church with various religious objects, not of much interest to me, but may be to others.

You can get there by car (there is a large car park), by bus, or by a steep climb on foot. I walked, and was rewarded by two huge rows of impressive arches/porticoes.

Even if you don't drive like me, do wander into the car park - you'll be rewarded by a gorgeous view of Vicenza and the mountains beyond (still snow-capped in February).

A very ornate church with red lanterns at the altar. Well worth the visit. One particular thing about this church is that, when mass is over, you can go behind the altar to see "La madonna". Many people touch or kiss the virgin located there and many have left gifts "to thank her for an answered prayer". there is a museum inside the church, and in december they expose a nativity scene in its basement. Nearby there are 2 restaurants and right next to it there's a bar. On a clear day you can see all of vicenza from the parking lot.

Went out of our way on a Saturday, closed, no information as to opening. Other tourists, visitors and coach parties similarly wandering about looking puzzled before departing. Shop opposite filled with rubbishy religious artefacts by the way. Almost tempted to get one of the madonnas in a bubble.

it's a nice walk up to the Santuario della Madonna di Monte Berico. The church itself is nice, even if not a big treasure, but sure worth the visit.

A steep walk if you dont have your own car, but passing through the arch leading to the first flight of steps is an experience of Palladio's style. At the top there is a reasonably decent view of the town.Inside the sanctuary one does feel a soothing of the spirit and you can sit down and take a rest in a tranquil environment. For those who wish they also have mass here so check the times because I'm sure it's invigorating to the soul even if you're not a believer. If you're on foot you're not far away from the Villa dei Nani and The Rotonda, so ask for directions.
