This piazza is full of interesting buildings (including the Roman Arena) but it was the stalls selling cheeses, bread, spices, preserves, and ready-to-eat food that we really enjoyed. It's well served by buses, and is at the centre of Verona's historic district. You can easily...More

Framed by many restaurants and the arena, Piazza Bra is hard to miss in Verona. Large open space and good for strolling, people watching and ambience. Flower show was on and the colours and smells were fantastic as were the live opera performances on at...More

Elegant and classy - not run down with touristy places like Piazza Erbe with its touristy stalls. Good choice of restaurants from pricey and elegant to cheap and cheerful.

The atmosphere is great, lovely cafes to grab some espresso, watching the world go by. We cycled around weaving in and out of the Piazza. Stopping to get some lovely gelato. You can't miss it, take some time out to soak in the history.

We have lots of bitter experiences having meals in the tourist area especially in Italy. However, the restaurant is different, they treat you well and quality of food and services are excellent. Prices are reasonable and you just felt you are local.

It is bigger than piazza Erbe and not so crowed. I love sitting here just relax for a little while. There is also a small kebab shop that serves a good size kebab (3,5 Euro) which also tastes really good.

You can take one of the city buses from the station to reach Piazza Bra. Tickets are just 1.30 euro if I remember correctly. Or you can walk maybe 15-20 mins through a somewhat boring landscape to get there.
