This beautiful building of Palazzo Barbieri is today the Town Hall. It is located on the square of Bra and immediately to the magnificent Arena di Verona. The building is impressive and its rich history does not leave anyone indifferent. It was built in Neoclassical style. The palace was originally named Palazzo della Gran Guardia Nuova, and housed staff associated with the occupying Austrian Army forces. It was designed by Giuseppe Barbieri and was later named in his honor. Today, in front of the Palazzo hosts events and Fiera.

Located at Piazza Bra, adjacent to the Arena, this very lovely building represents a city hall. Interesting to see coats of arms of Verona's partner cities on the entry wall.
