It is a bit to walk from the parking, down to the terrace which is a good spot for photography. Still, the most interesting fact about this church I found when I came home, and sorry that I missed. This place was an Austrian fortress...More

The church is on the top of a hill and if you want to see it, you should be prepared for quite a walk to reach it. It doesn`t take much time, but the way up is hilly. Still, at the end, the view is...More

I thought the view from the Castel San Pietro was magnificent until getting a ride up to this blue-domed church on another hill even higher above the city of Verona. Truly spectacular view of the river, bridges, gardens, churches and towers!

This beautiful church is on top of a hill in Verona so unless you drive walking is the only way up I believe. It is definitely worth it when you reach the top however as the views are just stunning. The actual church itself inside...More

The position of this church is breathtaking! It would be impossible to walk here from Verona as it is accessed via very windy and twisty roads. The journey is well worth the trek.

Wonderful experience. The statue of our lady which is quite large survived the bombing during WWII which in itself when you see the size of the statue is a miracle that is survived. The vista alone is breathtaking!

We hiked up to here to see the views of the city and we weren't disappointed. The views are stunning. If anything just go here for the views. You can drive up. There were some coach parties there when we got there. It's a must.

We decided to head up to the sanctuary as beside it, on our map of Verona, was the giant title, "panoramic view of city" and while my husband and I love exploring a new city every change we get, we also appreciate getting outside the...More
