As soon as we arrived in town we went to the top of a hill overlooking the city to visit this stunning sanctuary to the Lady of Lourdes. The windows were particularly beautiful especially the one over the altar which was plate glass with a view of a huge statue of the madonna

The church is on the top of a hill and if you want to see it, you should be prepared for quite a walk to reach it. It doesn`t take much time, but the way up is hilly. Still, at the end, the view is worth seeing!
