Must see church in Verona, located just a hundreds meters from Castelvecchio and the arena, in a quiet area, this place emanates spirituality and inspiration for all.

This was the last church in our 4 church tour. Save the best for last was just a lucky choice. Absolutely beautiful. Breath taking!

This is one of the finest examples of Romanesque churches I have seen in Italy. The bronze gates and the portal are especially wonderful.

I'm sorry but this is the Basilica of St. Zeno, not the Verona Cathedral, also known as Duomo. In any case this is a false review: you have not visited it because it's not possible to go to the top of the bell tower, nowhere...More

The ticket costs 2.50 € which is reasonable price. The church is moderately decorated (romanic), has a nice inner courtyard, frescos and main doors that you cannot see from the outside because they are protected by the plain, wooden doors from both sides.

A really beautiful church - one can feel the majesty of its standing. Well-kept and worth a visit for sure.

San Zeno basilica is a can't miss when visiting Verona because the statue of the city's patron saint Zeno is there. The church has frescoes, a crypt and a beautiful cloister. The bronze panels on the doors are well worth a long perusal (if they...More

I'm not a religious type and so my judgement is based solely on the architecture (wow factor) and, for me, though San Zeno is worth a look, it didn't give me as much joy as Duomo.

This is an outstanding Romanesque church, well worth the walk along the river. In December, when we visited, it was empty which meant we could appreciate both it's size, it's beauty and the light, without distraction.

Don't miss this often overlooked church. JPII did not miss it and St. Zeno is a North African Saint with an admirable story.

Hi, you can find the ticket at the entrance and this include other churches too. The audio is inside the church, but you will find someone there very helpful. The tour is less than 1 hour but it worth. Enjoy it :)

At the entrance of the 4 historical churches of Verona there is a basket where you will find some kimono that you can put over naked shoulders or wear if you are dressed with pants or skirt too short. This is a free service.
