I'm not a religious person, but this is breathtaking, not too many tourists. The carvings are incredible. Even if your not into historical buildings, just pop your head inside the door, just to imagine what it took to make this wonderful place.

The best of architecture, religion and history. And not too overwhelming after so many other historic sites in this wonderful city.

A veronese friend recommended me to visit this church, even if it is a bit far from all the other touristic attractions. And I am really glad I did! This church is really impressive, not only because of the architecture (it is one of the...More

Well worth the stroll from the Piazza Bra. I’m not catholic but I really enjoyed learning the history of this church (via audio guide). The scale, workmanship & design are mind boggling.

Entrance fee charged but free to enter if entering for prayers. Quite surprised to be asked for an entry fee as this was the first time having visited many cities in Italy over the last 30 years. Worth a visit but only worth paying if...More

Visiting Basilica of San Zeno in UNESCO World Heritage sites of Verona, one of the most beautiful Romanesque architecture. When I visited there, it was raining in Verona, so very quiet and few tourists inside. The early buildings underwent some changes in the 6th century....More

This is one of the oldest Italian churches. And one of the most wonderful. It does not belong to the most popular attractions, so there are no crowds. To come to the façade take Vicolo Abazia, NOT Via Tomaso da Vico (it will be much...More

Lots of interesting points inside, both history and art. 20-30 minute walk through, with printed guide. Exterior not meaningful. Interesting art gallery near which offers bathroom for free.

Hi, you can find the ticket at the entrance and this include other churches too. The audio is inside the church, but you will find someone there very helpful. The tour is less than 1 hour but it worth. Enjoy it :)

At the entrance of the 4 historical churches of Verona there is a basket where you will find some kimono that you can put over naked shoulders or wear if you are dressed with pants or skirt too short. This is a free service.
