The square is stunning despite its narrowness. Stand initially at the bottom south east entrance and soak in the whole square. Look at the complex selection of beautiful buildings, making sure you look from the ground floor slowly upwards. Think about the planning permissions! There is so much to take in that you do need to follow the buildings and... More

Nice piazza to visit the market, enjoy the architecture and watch people on one of the terraces, one of the places you should see when visiting Verona

Very busy - some great photo opportunities but the restaurants are overpriced and serve very average food

It is lovely to sit in one of the cafes for a drink and a chance to absorb the history in this charming piazza. The beautiful buildings all around, the bustling market stalls it is so very Italian.

A must see while in Verona. Old buildings, market, restaurants and cafes. Street vendors selling fresh cool fruit-cups which was really refreshing in a hot summer day.

Very beautiful plaza, where you can admire old houses around you, while drinking coffee. In the middle there are several vendors, like a market, selling all sorts of staff, not just some domestic products - for me it was bothering and destroyed the magic of this great place with so much history.

A lively piazza right in the centre with a market and surrounded by restaurants and cafes. Go there to look at the beautiful architecture, visit the market or just people-watch.

Beautiful piazza with plenty to do and see. Stopped and picked up a few local items and remembrances of our trip to Verona. Sat by a wonderful fountain while sipping a cool drink and eating Gelato. Fun memories with my teenagers! Pizza lined with neat outdoor cafes too!

Historically nice looking place, but a little tourist rip off place with souvenir stands and over priced restaurants.

An incredible view, it really looks like a stage prop and it allows you to feel how the city was in its medieval splendour. Better to see when it's not too busy as stalls and people may be in your way.
