We went to Verona for our 40th wedding anniversary and because of the connection with Romeo and Juliet, thought it would be the perfect romantic getaway. We were not disappointed, this is a very beautiful city and is easily explored on foot to take in...More

We came into Verona on the train and were lucky enough to walk out of the train station and see that the hop on hop off bus was coming in 10 minutes. We rode the line into the main center of town, walked around to...More

This is a great way to see the city sites but be warned once you get off you won't see the bus for another hour so plan your trip well in advance or you will be doing a lot of walking between sites.

The Hop-On Hop-Off Tour through Verona is a great way to get around and see the best sights. You are needed at the appropriate central points and you can get in and out of the bus again and again (for 24 hours). However, the frequency...More

It's one out of citybreak staples to do the hop-on/hop-off bus tours. This one offered two lines for €20 each. The city line was okay but as most of the city is pedestrianised it cannot go down many streets, the outer city line was boring...More

Well worth taking both tours so as to orientate yourself. Line B is especially good - take this after the Line A tour which should get you back to the terminus 10 minutes before B leaves. Get your ticket after mid-day so that you can...More

It's a fab way to see the whole city and parts of the city you wouldn't normally have planned to go and see. It's also faster than if you walked and saves time. I recommend sitting on the top deck and taking your own headphones....More

A wonderful city with so many wonderful things to do. The Opera, the tower, the streets, architecture, the square with so many wonderful places to eat and drink. The galleries the museums. Romeo and Juliets balcony, fountains, statues and shopping galore. I only scratched the service.
