La via, come riporta la denominazione, si trova lungo l’Adige tra la Chiesa di Sant’Anastasia e la Casa di Romeo.
Esisteva già ai tempi dei romani, ma quello che vediamo oggi è una caratteristica via medievale grazie allo stupendo portico costituito da archi a tutto sesto poggianti su colonne con capitelli dorici o meno e alle case del XIII/XIV secolo, di recente restaurate, adornate da bifore romaniche e da finestre ad arco trilobato.
Caratteristici anche i vicoli stretti (in dialetto “Vò) che collegavano la riva del fiume alle case dei molinari (lavoratori del mulino) che erano adibite a luogo di lavoro a pianoterra e abitazione nei piani superiori. Le case di fronte al portico presentano affreschi, purtroppo molto sbiaditi, a sfondo religioso.
Ovviamente non poteva non essere una via piena di locali caratteristici, ma anche di troppe macchine.

"Sottoriva" cioè in fianco alla riva del fiume, ovvero in passato anche la prima strada ad essere allagata dalle piene dell'Adige.

Pur "assediata" dalle auto parcheggiate (facile dirlo da turista, probabilmente se abitassi qui la penserei diversamente), mantiene comunque il suo fascino, soprattutto in questo periodo dove le comitive sono assenti.

In un giorno feriale di febbraio puo' ancora capitare di trovare il vecchio portico deserto anche di giorno, poi di notte tutto diventa ancor piu' suggestivo con il cupo e basso porticato che - unito alle vecchie case - conferisce un aspetto ancora spiccatamente medievale.

Certo, senza badare ai Suv parcheggiati dall'altre parte che sono sempre li'...

The street is located in the center of Verona, it is historic, it is a medieval street with a semi-covered part where there are historic taverns, very beautiful

Dopo aver visitato il centro e le maggiori attrazioni, immancabile una sosta nei vari ristorantini e trattorie della Sottoriva , vicino la chiesa di Sant'Anastasia e la casa di Romeo.

La via, che sorge poco distante dalla Basilica di Santa Anastasia e la Casa di Romeo, ha origine romana, mentre fu solo durante il Medioevo che assunse la denominazione attuale dovuta alla sua posizione lungo la riva dell’ Adige.

Caratteristica con bel portico, case, attività commerciali...e una marea di auto parcheggiate,,,non presenta particolari originali e imperdibili...

Francamente, a volte, mi sfugge “la logica della scelta delle attrazioni” in una città che vanta ben altre meraviglie quasi ad ogni angolo...

旧市街の北東側でアディジェ川に沿うようにしてある通りです。道幅はやや狭く、両側には住宅が連なるように並んでいます。ショップやレストランなども少しありますが、どちらかというと住んでいる人の生活感が漂っている通りです。

スカラ家の廟から東のアディジェ川の方面に行くとある通りです。裏通りのような感じであまり人は多くありませんが、レストランなどがありました。1階部分がアーチ状になっている建物などもありました。

ヴェローナ旧市街は、観光客の多い大通りと、そうでない脇道裏道の差が極端な印象です。脇道や裏道にもちょっとした雑貨屋さんなどがあり、こちらを巡るのも楽しいです
