We met up with Francesca outside Macdonalds at 10.15 today. It was a large group but she had a mini microphone so everyone could hear clearly what she was saying.
She was extremely knowledgeable and presented her obviously much loved city with humour and enthusiasm . I would recommend her and “free walking tours” to anyone visiting this fabulous city. Do bring an umbrella though as two hours later after leaving her there were thunderstorms and a deluge!!

We went on this tour on our first day of Verona and loved it! Our tour guide, Francesca, was so lovely, friendly and welcoming and really looked after our group, helping us break the ice, making sure we were all present and ready to learn some really interesting facts about the city. We were really happy to learn from a local of the city, her English was great and she was really passionate about making sure everyone could understand what she was saying and had the resources needed to follow along.

The content was so fascinating and we definitely saw the city in a different light afterwards; we were happy that it wasn’t all about Romeo & Juliet, that’s easy enough to learn out about on your own in the city. Would recommend this tour!!

Perfect guide of Verona

We were a group of 16 peoples and we booked a private tour.
I can see recommended all of you who are s group of more than & people to book s private guide

We started at Arco dei Gavi and our guide Serena gave us all the Verona history and served us with interesting information along the route.
But not only this she also told us local tips of the best place for Gelato and food/restaurants and what we need to test

We did this walk with Francesca on a very hot day and she ensured that we walked in the shade as much as possible.
This is an ideal way to see the main sites in this lovely compact historical city and was well worth it. She told us a lot too about the places we visited and saw. Highly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant!!!!! Very much recommended. Even when the weather was damp and drizzling, Francesca was and is the perfect tour guide. Her English is excellent. The facts shared were really fascinating. Just enough information for you to get a sense of the history, giving you the background for so many beautiful places. Many key places to visit were visited on the itinerary, giving the perfect opportunity to ask questions, take photo’s and note where to return to later. A must for any visitor to Verona… not to be missed.

Great tour, excellent guide!

Our walking tour of Verona was one of the highlight of our roadtrip. Small streets, historical buildings, lots of folklore, authentic places to eat and drink... our guide Serena made sure we discovered them all and showered us with interesting facts and anecdotes. Would recommend!

A perfect tour of the most beautiful city in the world

Well organised and informative tour! Francesca is super friendly, possesses huge amounts of knowledge about the area and will happily answer any question you may have. Overall the whole tour feels very relaxed, it’s just like a stroll with a friend. Verona is a magical and fascinating place, I’m happy to have been guided around this beautiful city by Francesca.

Excellent free walking tour with Serena
May 2023
I was a little worried that this tour would be canceled because it had been raining this morning, but Serena was exactly at the place where were were supposed to meet, on time. Serena is professional and personable, and made the tour very interesting! It was the right balance of history and culture. Brava to Serena! Highly recommend!!

Fascinating and informative tour from Serena who told us all about the history and culture of Verona. Despite the weather being very hot we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. (Bring water and stand in the shade if you struggle with the heat). This tour is free of charge but it is advisable to leave a tip so take some cash with you!🚶🏻‍♀️🇮🇹❤️💶

Great way to get to know Verona

We took the tour on our first full day in Verona. Serena was a great guide with lots of local information, history and anecdotes. Her English was perfect and she had a good sense of humour. Highly recommended to start you Verona trip.
