We have booked our ACTV transportation online, on the VeneziaUnica website, as a part of the VeneziaUnica Platinum City Pass. It gave us the opportunity to use the ACTV vaporettoes for seven days unlimited, plus a return bus ticket from/to the Marco Polo Airport. In...More

Well, like most tourist in Venice, I started out to 'find' a place and 6 hours later, I learned I had walked to a completely different island somehow! Luckily, I found the train station and Actv Venezia! The clerks directed me to the correct ticket...More

Actv is a public transportation company that provides waterbuses (Vaporetto’s) in Venice, Italy. They also provide bus service from the airport and you can get a combo bus and Vaporetto ticket at the airport. My wife and I spent three days touring Venice and we...More

Nice and efficient way to get around the city. Boats are pretty much on time. Only downside is a price which gone up in recent years.

After reading the reviews.... I now understand that ACTV really set a trap for tourist to pay fine of €60. I hope some upgrades of the doors to enter the boats so that we can understand when our ticket is already invalid, the door will...More

Absolutely ridiculous money hungry company. Me and multiple other travelers got on their bus to the airport with tickets for a different company unknowingly (ATVO rather than ACTV and strikingly similar buses, honest mistake). When they are around to check tickets they informed us of...More

Santa Croce
Santa Croce gained importance as a sestiere (district)
when Piazzale Roma was created in the 1930s to bring
cars and buses close to the center of Venice.
Constitution Bridge spans the Grand Canal linking
Piazzale Roma to the train station. This area buzzes
with energy from travelers and students. Historic
palaces and former industrial buildings house some
departments of Ca' Foscari and IUAV Architecture

I belive The ticket values for just 1 run or 1 hour. Maybe you tought it was a daily ticket but it isn’t. Still The Price is way too high for foreigners.
